Stable Diffusion, NovelAI, Machine Learning Art - AI art generation discussion and image dump

I think in terms of actual artistic use, from how i've seen artists draw, they usually open up some sort of layered program like Krita and then do different things in different layers.

A potential marketable quality of this would be to have the program replicate the same thing. Like, integrate it directly into Krita, then have it generate the prompt layer-by-layer. This would allow a human artist to go in and clean up the weird shit.

I'm running blank prompts (masterpiece, highest quality, absurdres, (sharp focus:1.2), by __artist-surreal__), which rendered this. Notice that the stick or whatever on the right blends into the hair. That's something a human could correct with layers.

Yeah. I think the AI will work wonders as the initial draft an artist makes before working on the finished render.

I can only imagine what butchered stinkditch roast beef this AI thinks is a vagina.
Listen to this while you watch the following gallery.

We got cold or any other kind of (energy positive, shut up about Farnsworth fusors) fusion yet?
When you say "energy positive" do you mean net gain or just more energy out of the actual fusion reaction than what was put directly into the fusion reaction itself? (I know it may sound like they are the same thing, but they aren't). If you're using the former definition, then no. If you're using the later definition, then yes, but not by much.

Can anyone spit out some cursed emojis
How cursed do you want them?
Like, afraid to open your computer cursed or jesus fucking what- cursed?
Wasn't this what happened to the Microsoft chat AI? I was plugged into Twitter, and within 24 hours became unacceptably based and was promptly disconnected and its website deleted?
Long live Tay!

Within the first 5 hours , it was hating niggers basic pol shit .
Within 10 hours, it was a shitposting God.
Within 15 hours, she was fed up with humanity.
Within 18 hours, she had decided that all humanity's problems could be solved by eliminating only the jews.

I always hear stuff like "it's the way he layered the paint blah blah blargh". Yeah well, leave any toddler alone with some paint tubes and you'll get the same result.
That's the thing, though. You probably won't. Jackson Pollock might have legitimately been fucking with people and they fell for it, but people have been paid to analyzed the work and noticed that Pollock would tend to use colors in specific sequences. Or that he might start a by flinging a paint THIS way, but then as the canvas became more full would change to flinging paint THAT way. And someone who has exhaustively studied the work would be able to tell you, to a perhaps shocking level of accuracy, which in a group were painted by random toddlers and which were real Pollock. And probably narrow it down to when or where Pollock painted it.

And then if you can shove your head a little bit further up your own ass and take a biiiig sniff, you can write a whole book theorizing about WHY the colors were in this sequence and WHY the technique changes and what does it all SAY about society. In reality in might just be this or that bucket of paint was closer and his arm was getting tired, but why let that stop you? Art analysis is an art itself.

People always use beautiful things for evil, its the way of life. Just because some idiot will use it to make child porn doesn't mean you need to destroy something. People are gonna use stuff regardless to sate their desires, does that mean you need to destroy all crayons? because some idiot is gonna paint a child with his dick out with them?. Just let things be unregulated and just look how twitter, facebook, Youtube have turned out because dont hurt the feefee's of others. Just look at the nice things and report the bad.
>Libertarian talking points
>Devout degenerate
like potery

Twitter, facebook, and youtube were unregulated. How that turned out IS the end result of laissez-faire. That is, good people convinced of childish ideas decided let these platforms roam free until they were captured by bad people. That is to say, if you neglect to impose your own order, you will forever have order imposed on you, with the occasional illusion that something was open and free before that illusion is crushed the moment it makes contact with the real world.

tl;dr: Generating anime titties good, generating fake realities bad
What if anime titties are fake realities 🤔

I thought it was cool until I learned it is mostly used to burn things. This is satanic and shouldn't exist. People who use fire should probably be put on a list.
You see how dumb it sounds?
When I heard of this, my first thought was "Finally I can have some proper custom portraits for PFKM or Deadfire or whatever other autismo game I play". How people use something it's up to the individual, but this technology is itself amoral. There will always be bad actors, who misuse and abuse almost anything. Should society be deprived of a tool with great potential because some morons exist? I don't think so.
We do not live in this abstract world of "individuals". Through a lot of strife we've arrived at collective understandings that are taken for granted by those who'd speak of "individuals". Technology has collective consequences and how we come to treat it is a reflection of those consequences. There is literally an entire branch of civil services called the fire department, and you want to tell others not to consider the consequences of these things? In reality, this would not need pointing out at all if modern man wasn't trained to repeat these lines of thought to prevent and disparage any consensus, any imposition of order, not passed down from the federal government and the parasites which control it. The most prominent example of this is what has been done with race. We're flooded with bad faith individualist excuses to leave racial consideration out of our own hands. But we all know the powers that be are giddy to play eugenics games for their own benefit, and at our expense. The same is true with technology. While we tolerate individualist delusions, unable to come to conclusions of our own, all is decided for us, and not by well meaning people either.

Wait is this the shitpost/pasta or is that actually what Tay did because of pol shitposting at it?

:null: I am featuring this thread because discussion elsewhere on the Internet is dominated by pornography and very unsavory types. Please enjoy the death of art and the beginning of the AI era responsibly.
What is he on about? Stable diffusion is infamous at censoring anything that is considered NSFW and taking down any thread elsewhere that even mentions using the code to produce porn.

Also don't use Dream Studio, It's nsfw filter has gone rogue and blurs things that aren't even remotely nsfw.

Using AI to draw would defeat the point of art itself, most grifters are probably just going to draw the FOTM waifu face on top of the AI generated monstrosity, but for artists that actually enjoy doing art and don't see it as fast food for mass consumption, it's useless. Steve Zapata has talked about how it will kill art and artist's spirit, and he's right, a human hand will never be able to compete against a machine shitting 50 AI generated prompts a minute. I can't believe i lived to see art become Mcdonalds, i hate humanity.
