Pirate it, then pirate the GOTY edition with all the DLC, then eventually if you must, when the BASE game is on sale for $3-5, buy that and dump the DLC ESMs in the game's folder. It worked for Skyrim and F4 and I have no reason to think Bethesda is going to fix this exploit since their DLCs are treated exactly like mods are by the game's logic and code.I'm gonna pirate it or try it via game pass before eventually getting it at $20 or so a year from now.
They're not even cleaning out the skeletons and corpse juice of the broken beds they sleep in. It's one thing to be unable to rebuild due to lack of materials and/or skills, I can buy that, but come the fuck on. Doesn't have to be spotless just throw out the old bones.Bethesda's passage of time has always operated on arrested development, Fallout 4 (and by extension 3) has a 200 year time skip and in that time nothing has been rebuilt (all the while cyborgs that pass as literal humans get introduced as a major plot point) with people opting to live in craters and bombed-out houses instead.
i get that Fallout is a post-apocalyptic genre and that it wouldn't be fitting for it to be post-post-apocalyptic and that i'm supposed to just consoom slop and not ask questions but you're really making it hard for me Todd.
They changed it slightly bc they deleted fo4s forks source and merged fo4 with 76. So it still basically works the same way but you may need a 3rd party launcher to force it to load it's own dlc es3's or whatever that new extension is.Pirate it, then pirate the GOTY edition with all the DLC, then eventually if you must, when the BASE game is on sale for $3-5, buy that and dump the DLC ESMs in the game's folder. The current DLCs appear to be esm files. Keep in mind this game was in development since Fallout 4's release, if not before, and the engine's been patched heavily, so they're considering it "Creation Engine 2." So it's likely that 76 and Starfield's engines went along very different development paths. They changed it slightly bc they deleted fo4s forks source and merged fo4 with 76. I haven't seen the game yet so I'm guessing it followed 76's fork. If it didn't, im happy to be wrong bc that would be hilarious. (It would equate to them literally deleting fo4s fork to sell Skyrim again)
Toss out the dead, sweep the floors up... not hard, people. They're not even cleaning out the skeletons and corpse juice of the broken beds they sleep in. You mean the LAUGHING at IGN for pulling another one of these?I'm more entertained by the crying about the IGN reviews than I am by the game.
