Steven Crowder / LouderWithCrowder / @scrowder / The "Change my Mind" meme guy - Talk show host who burns all bridges, even with his own wife

It's a private company saying "don't say these things". Not the government.

Government gets involved over not doing what the contract you signed says to do.
Let's say I hire a hitman and make him sign an NDA. Does that mean the Government bails me out when he breaks his silence?

Why do you Yankees subject yourselves to this? To stick it to the commies?

If all of your former employees, even your fucking lawyer are donating to Not Gay Jared's legal fund as a go fuck yourself you gay leaf it's pretty safe to say it's Crowder's fault. Or maybe the 109 friends who all now hate him are the real problem and he's a perfect angel?
You can put whatever name you want when donating to a GoFundMe. If I recall, someone gave Monty $50 as "Kayla Rekieta". Most likely this is someone donating to Jared and using Bill Richmond's name as a joke.

Seriously, if cameras had been as ubiquitous
It just makes me feel real odd sometimes honestly because I grew up being told to keep records anything I believed would be important. I’m really surprised the current generation in which you can do all that easily has seemingly been convinced keeping records is bad.

What I am interested in knowing is will Crowder go to Ring to get all the stuff his wife deleted and will he release it publicly.

Didn’t pay attention to this bit at first since I thought it was about a person, but apparently Hillary looks to have tried getting Crowder’s dog taken away. Petty stuff.

It is a dogo argentino, which is banned in many places specifically for being a dangerous dog breed. I wouldn't want them around young children, either. dogo.jpg

Everything about the Ring video is suspect due to the editing. It had timestamps so you could see the seconds removed in a few places. Means he could’ve been responding to batshit insane stuff Hillary was saying and we’d be none the wiser. Crowder is a cunt but no reason to fall into believing Hillary can do no wrong.
He straight up said "I don't love you" to his heavily pregnant wife, with an expression of disgust, and said "if you really loved me you would give the dog the medicine" (which was dangerous for pregnant women to handle). The phrases were not edited together, so there is no excuse for this shit.

I don't know why you're in this thread when you are apparently a fan of the man and feel like you need to defend him to strangers. This is a gossip website. We are going to say mean things about steve crowder in the steve crowder thread, because that is what the thread is for.

There is also a reason why people tell you to delete the stuff that may tend to damn you in court as well, which Hilary did.

I noticed that a lot of people in this thread base their opinions on 18 seconds of a Ring video, but conveniently forget that she deleted several thousand hours of Ring footage (against the will of the court) and is also refusing to turn over several thousand hours of footage that was requested by the court.

All of that being said, I am trying to look at this with a fair eye. Sure, Steven isn't the best, nicest person ever, but if you fall into the traps that Hilary and her lawyer have set, you are allowing yourself to follow the narative that they wish.

All the back and forth aside, this is the major point that doesn't put me squarely in the "Fuck Steven Crowder completely" camp. Yes, he's a narcissistic, theater faggot prick. And no doubt it's a "frat party" atmosphere at LWC. You can tell that just from watching their shows. That's the part I hate the most about them. They'll have really serious topic that they'll be discussing, and then one of them will say a stupid joke, or play a dumbass sound effect that immediately ruins the entire segment. But the suspicious timing of Not Gay Jared's GoFundMe, and the "receipts" from the Gerald hosted LWC last night showing scheming and collusion between Jared, Crowders Ex-wife, and her family, and the emails that prove them actively plotting to take him down shows that there is some bullshit going on from their side as well. To me it seems like they were in the process of divorce negotiations, and either Not-Gay Jared got to Hillary, or her family, and convinced her to go for more. As Gerald made a point to say on the video response last night, according to Texas law, the estate pays all legal fees from a divorce process, so on top of the $25K a month he is paying out for child and spousal support, he is also covering all of those additional expenses since she is currently not working. Now I'm sure that none of us knows her current financial situation, but I highly fucking doubt that she is living in a dirt floor shack, wearing threadbare clothes on the brink of starvation with $25K a month in support. I just don't fucking buy it. That's $300,000K a year, for a single mother and 2 kids. If you can't somehow find a way to make a living off of that, you don't deserve to have a pet goldfish, let alone the responsibilities of raising kids.

As far as the rest, the deleted footage, dog dispute, and other associated back and forth. That's typical woman-like pettiness, and other bog standard behavior in a divorce. People get petty and vindictive over the smallest things just to hurt their ex in any way they can. They're so blinded by their hatred thet they can't see the forest for the trees. It's just on a larger scale because he's a minor celebrity with some wealth and notoriety involved. They're just two objectively shitty people going through a messy divorce in the public eye, and other associated hangers-on are getting involved.

I can't say I have anything bad to say about Gerald Morgan though. Yeah, he defends Steven, but seeing as as he's defending his close friend and is the CEO of the company, I don't really blame him. He seems less juvenile than the rest of the crew during the shows, and really seems to take it serious when tough topics and discussions are brought up. I genuinely gained respect for him when he went and grilled the school board a while back when they covered up the planned shooting (twice). I dunno, maybe it's a grift all around, but he's one that at least seems sincere? :optimistic:

Here is what Gerald dumped yesterday during his rebuttal video: Here is the truth

It is mostly twitter posts and such.

I know, that's why I'm hoping someone can provide links or PDFs of the full documents, or at least direct us to what court(s) they were filed in. Supposedly all this stuff is "public record," but without knowing the jurisdiction, it's hard to look up.

Not saying they're not bad, but NDA's are third-string to second-string Non-Competes and first-string "We own everything you do within x-years of leaving."
All three of those can line up, in that order, straight into the wood-chipper with the exit chute facing an incinerator and the exhaust filter on that incinerator scheduled to be launched into the Sun. I want all three of those scummy legal practices deader than Crowder's marriage. 2024 started off with Steamboat Willie going public domain, let's make this the year all the corporate shoggoths get their legal toys broken.
Having to get legal involved if you want to resign likely before your contract says you can is common.
As is checking over stuff just in case. And the other side disputing things.

Arsehole behavior? Yes. Standard practice? Yes. Threatening? No.
Nigga, Crowder tried to steal his personal Twitter account from 2009 claiming it was LWC intellectual property. If this is standard business practice, the whole industry needs to burn and start over.

Or by "forcing him" they offered him a few extra stacks to sign an NDA and now he realizes that he should have held onto his chips longer.
If Jared is to be believed, he was allowed a carve-out in his supposed "non-compete" interpretation of his contract where he could accept a job from a specific company in exchange for signing a forever-NDA. This was something Crowder allegedly reneged on because shortly after that he sent Jared a cease and desist, anyway.
How are NDAs compatible with the 1st Amendment, or with free speech in general before someone well ackshuallys me?
They aren't.

It's a private company saying "don't say these things". Not the government.

Government gets involved over not doing what the contract you signed says to do.
Can we please stop making moral carve-outs for our nation's founding principles because the offending party isn't technically the government?

This is what I could find. Not sure if that helps you or not. Denton County, Texas. It isn't even the divorce case, but some sort of business lawsuit.

If Jared is to be believed

Why should he be believed, though? Yes, Crowder is a jackass fratboy asshole who is known to be "hard to work with" but Jared hasn't shown any receipts of his claims, including the claim that he was told he had to turn over his personal Twitter and personal equipment. Is this the start of a new hashtag-believe-all-notgays? All he did was whine for fifteen minutes while waving papers in his hand. By contrast, Gerald showed text messages proving that Jared is colluding with Hilary to extort more gibs out of Crowder than the law would allow in the divorce.

"He can't show the receipts because he's under an NDA!" which he's already supposedly in violation of and has scored tens of thousands of dollars in donations to fight, so...why not show his proof? Just because Crowder is widely despised as a douchebag doesn't mean this other guy is some long-suffering, truth-telling, put-upon victim.

Despite what Maverick Vile said to you, there is no question of "compatibility" when it comes to the 1st Amendment and a lot of people in this thread either do not understand the protections it gives or have some grandiose idea of what it means.

The 1st Amendment protects you from the GOVERNMENT infriging upon your rights. It is literally one line (although very important) in the constitution that says just this:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

At no point does it say that you are protected from being stupid and signing an NDA. It is not a 1st Amendment issue because the party voluntarily enters into an agreement with another party.

I’m under an NDA from a former employer but that’s because I got a nice big stack of money to get it. Again, if they also said “you also can’t work lol” I’d have told them to fuck off and just got a new job. Are conservative/populist Americans just retarded? Do they not read what they sign after a lawyer has also read it?

I’m leaning towards this guy just getting what he deserves right now.

Thanks. That appears to be the (ongoing) tortious interference case, excerpts from which Gerald shared in the video, but it looks like Denton County court website doesn't include the documents themselves for viewing. Oh well.

Same reason you wouldn't snort crack in public if you know the cops suspect you to have a drug lab in your basement.

But he made a public video of himself with the drug lab in the background, metaphorically, while begging for donations to fight drug charges he wasn't even charged with yet, metaphorically. 🤷‍♂️ Regardless of tortured metaphors, I still don't see why any of his vague claims should be automatically believed absent proof or court docs. I'm surprised he didn't claim Crowder yelled "THIS IS CROWDER COUNTRYYYYYY" while notgay-bashing him.

And let's not forget the response of this absolute faggot to that incident. The real crime was not the heinous shit he said to his wife. No the crime was it was all recorded and everyone was misinterpreting what he actually meant.

I dunno, calling your wife who is pregnant with your kid a bitch and that you love your dog more than her came across pretty clear too me.
