Still, he didn't do any worse than most of us would in his situation, and he accomplished about as much as we could expect. The silver lining here is that Indians are too stupid and poor to play games on PC, so they will likely be relegated to mobile phones/tablets or consoles, where they belong.

Problem that vast majority of "gamers" are casuals playing shitty mobile games that usually need an internet connection and will die in the future, you're just supposed to accept it. Even younger gamers are used to this on PC or consoles, only the minority that either remembers how things used to be or are actual hobbyists/game for a living would care. You can't fight against an overwhelming majority like this no matter what you do, the ignorance of the masses always wins in the end. That is how our modern society works as well as it does, far-left politics would not be nearly as prevalent in any modern, civilized society as it is today, for example, if vast majority of people were both educated and involved in current affairs. Most don't care, and the politicians and activists exploit that.
