Is the upload audio feature still worth it? I know the rules of the site explicitly forbid using audio that isn't your own, but what really happens if you upload say a Kavinsky song as a base or from any artist? Account suspension?

Very much worth it since it is free now.

The site has a content ID system of some sort. If it detects the Kavinsky song upon upload (or rather the portion, you have an upper limit of 60 seconds) then your upload will be stopped, and you will have to upload something else.

Just use a vocal remover. If you must use the vocals, isolate them, then edit some track where the isolated vocals play for the first part, then the instrumental for the rest.

I don't know about bans and such. Felt like I was playing with fire, but nothing happened to my account.

So, I have been having a lot of fun with the audio uploading.
Funny thing is that wrestling theme songs don't get caught by whatever copyright detection they have on suno. Makes some sense, since a lot of those are blatant knockoffs of popular songs. Even the Steve Austin theme song is clearly inspired by a licensed track.
Anyways, while I was testing stuff with wrestling music, I remembered this old tale from Null's legal mail.

Here's an idea. There once was a user named @Arm Pit Cream - though he contributed a lot to kf, he was extremely autistic, spending around 12 hours a day on the site.

There's lore involving a first ban, but the second one ended up being final. It had an email exchange between him and Null, you can see it here. There's more, like some email where that user basically went "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!?!?" in a long autistic way. Anyways, that got me to make this song.
