It's probably a matter of time. I mean, just imagine being at the front of one of these things, not able to go forward because of the protesters and not able to back up because of all the traffic behind you. You're in a truck and if you don't get this delivery done by the end of the day you'll get penalized and also you really have to piss, and you start to see one of these sign-waving hippies enter the road in front of you… I could see some otherwise rational people doing an "aw, hell naw" and just rolling right over one of them.

The "hunger strikers" I mentioned earlier have realised that starving themselves to death would not be the best idea and that Joe Biden doesn't particularly care about a bunch of striking students:
