The only thing I have to say about it is that they, like Minecraft itself, look like shit. Minecraft is an ugly game, regardless of how fun or interesting you find it. The artstyle is just atrocious. While Smash usually makes (human) characters look wonky and has design issues of its own, the ugliness of Minecraft really stands out next to the other characters.

Eh, that's still debatable, imo. I think the game looks fine especially with the recent sprite polishing they did.

Sakurai straight up said that every pre-existing stage had to be tweaked to accommodate for Steve's blocks and spent half his speech in general pointing out how much of a programming nightmare this character is (the degree of which being the reason why he didn't want to do it in the past until Nintendo "persuaded" him).

What I'm saying is, get ready for a glitch bonanza when the update drops. It'll make Smash 4 Pac-Man and Min Min look like small potatoes.

And despite lowkey pointing out how much it was a pain in the ass that he was made to do this, Smashfags who hate Steve's addition will probably still REEEEEE at Sakurai over this because he's the face of the game.

That is assuming, of course, any of the more serious bugs weren't already ironed out before his release.

Yeah something like that sounds like it's waiting for a cubic ninja style exploit to be found with it somehow. especially since ultimate itself wasn't designed around the blocks. Plus some custom stages already cause ultimate to run at a snails pace so I cant imagine how much of a stress steve must be on one of the more "creative" ones.

Never played minecraft but where's the autistic girl from the convention asking the question lmao

Meh. I'm still happy I got the season pass. The stages are what I'm excited for. Also there's still three more coming in what is already the largest fighting game roster in recent memory.

I just want goddamn biographies/descriptions and shit. I miss that so much.

It's actually four more, FP2 gives you 6 characters and only two (Min Min and Steve) have bee revealed so far.
