Is there anyone who is following the warhammer discourse on twitter and insta? its a mess and a very faggy slap fight with a whole of troons and fat men fighting each other, while GW continues to exploit them and fuck them over like a cheap whore.

on twitter, there are troons and chuds (fat fucks) fighting each other, with constant gotchas and the ultimate battle to stop the femenization and redditization of warhammer like DnD. I have seen some retarded women on the discourse who literally jumped from star wars into this hobby so yk what kind of taste these so called "women" have.

on reddit its a cesspit of safe opinions and straw mans, not a single subreddit cares about lore and often will engage in drama

on instagram, i have seen a ton of people again needlessly engaging in politics, there was this cool who made nice models fucking put trump votes on like chaos demons while calling himself some trad cath. Like nigger idc about you being a faggot, just put models and saw him real time break down because trump won the 2025 elections. Literal whores who do OF are talking about how imperium are the bad guys, and all of them frumpy 30+ women. I rarely see any young guy of my age in warhammer.

its like a whole fanbase has become performative and are just there because its cool and niche so they can feel special about themselves, thinking they are in some club which makes them different.

So basically just the general bullshit that has been plaguing every other fandom for the past decade? It's been going on with warhammer for a few years now, with tranny subreddits brigading others to get them shut down, retards who think they know everything because they watched some lore videos or watched a vtuber pretending to give a shit "reacting" to warhammer lore videos. Entitled youtube channels thinking they're better than everyone else, dumbshits pirating GWs crap and being surprised when they get sent a C&D while screeching about how Disney was fine with it... it just goes on and on.

80% of the people engaging in that shit don't play, maybe painted a handful of models that isn't enough to play with, complain about how many books there are after being told to read the books instead of just watching lore slop on youtube, Another 10% are almost exactly the same as the 80%, but have painted/played/read just haven't engaged in anything in over a decade and only want to just bitch about warhammer(nothing new about this). If either of those groups were correct about anything, the average 40k game night at the local game store would look more like Rupaul's Drag Race than anything else.

Well thankfully reddit is not reality, and the irl warhammer community is not *that* fucked, yet.
 
My main dnd/friend group is mostly gay and for the most part they are totally normal and gay isn't their personality, but theres 2 I know that will eat this fag shit up. I dread the day they bring it up and start complaining about the chuds hating dnd "just cause 2 dudes kissing". It's so fucking annoying already but having it happen in person is extremely grating. We're a pretty big group (7, me included) and at this point me and 2 of us really wanna separate for multiple reasons into a smaller and better group. Tbf we wanna leave because we're the only ones passionate about playing at this point but the mega fag stuff is an unspoken reason for me too.

I came in at 5e when Curse of Strahd was still new and its all i know and I love it. It makes me dread whats coming in future editions I can't imagine what older players are feeling about the current state of dnd.

This is not out of the realm of something a beholder would cause. Probably shooting people with the flesh to stone ray and using the disintegrate ray to give them what it calls, "life changing surgery".

As an aside, one of the best supplements ever written is the 2e book I, Tyrant.

That's one of the fun things about them doing stuff like this. You don't have to flex the narrative that hard to change it into the kind of adventure you want. They could write a module about that whole picture (they're far too lazy) and it would take a single paragraph to turn it into satire. It would be easy to write a short adventure based on it too, mostly because it writes itself.

Imma be honest I could give less of a shit if your gay as long as you dont cause me any inconvenience in my day to day life. And even like I said its annoying as shit sometimes but ultimately I see them once or twice a month so I dont care that much.

And I would love to play pathfinder but those in the group that want to try playing it are not members I want to spend more time with tbh. Pathfinder wrath of the righteous is a kickass game.

In my entire life I've played exactly one game of Magic, and that was in '96 or '97. I am entirely out of the loop and only hear things when they intrude into other interests, like the Middle-earth set I mentioned or that "Intolerance" card with the Klansmen on it. I know there was a lot more race-bending than just black Aragorn ... though for my money the funniest thing was "healthy at any size" Goldberry. Slender as a willow-wand!

I've never seen the Bearscape card and found it so appalling I had to double check to make sure it wasn't a joke.

So by all means enlighten me.
