Xiaomi issued a safety guideline for drivers to pull over during heavy rains or hail, and avoid parking underneath trees, but that the fact that they had to announce this makes their car look even worse.

Never thought China would find a way to export Tofu Dreg construction, and yet here we are.

Wait why are lbd against the new science saviour?
I thought the yogurt weaving twats would love an Ev.
LDB embodies every stereotype of the typical London shitlib. Why is it surprising they up and copy progressive American talking points like they all do?

The new XPeng P7 will have scissor doors for some reason: / Archive

And Xiaomi SU7s crashing continues to be a thing the point of being a meme, as 4 SU7s in a wedding convoy were part of a 4-car pileup crash: / Archive

I'm not sure if SU7 crashes have reached Nissan Altima, Infiniti G35/G37/Q50, or Ford Mustang-levels of crashing yet though.

And a major BYD dealership network suddenly closed multiple stores. / Archive

They were peddling “three-year joint insurance” plans, and the dealerships were delaying worker pay, with some staff being unpaid for as long as 6 months.

Parts, technical information and manuals, and diagnostics tools are also held under tight control by automakers.
The idea that one can't have one's own property repaired is pure BS.

Aww, is the poor widdle company afraid that people will reverse engineer their product and make knockoffs?

A Chinese netizen posted pictures of the Neta logo being removed from their Shanghai HQ overnight. / Archive

Neta then responded and claimed that it was removed because the lease for the HQ expired, and they were planning to "relocate" elsewhere.

The other bigger news is that the shareholders are trying to schedule a meeting to remove Neta founder Fang Yunzhou from his CEO and chairman roles. Although I don't understand why they didn't remove him earlier, since their losses have reached over $2.5 BILLION, the company's debt ratio is at 217%, and the company owes $833 MILLION in unpaid debts to suppliers.

A recent trend has been discovered about Chinese auto makers using a "0 KM used car" scheme, where unsold new cars are registered, and then sold as used cars despite having almost 0 KM in mileage on them. / Archive

The 0 KM used car scheme is used to help automakers "meet" sales targets, offload new car inventories that are getting overbloated, to benefit from Government subsidies, and to sell those cars as exports in other countries.

This also results in another drop in car prices, which worsens the resale values of these cars that are bought new, and is already worsening the already intense price wars for cars in China, as Chinese automakers are collapsing (i.e. Neta, WM Motor, Jiyue) because of how extremely tough competition is getting.

I always find it hilarious watching thousands of Chinesium electric cars rust away in landfills, untouched, only for a “2.0” version to come out a few years later that instantly makes them obsolete.

But hey, that’s definitely better for the environment than letting some chud keep his gas-powered car running for 20+ years, right?

Funny that you don‘t hear Western nations complain to China about their waste since they care sooo much about the environment…

Better castrate your own economy with stupid laws so China can flood the market so they can weaken your domestic market.

The worst thing about most Teslas around here being driven by chinks is that you can never be sure if the retarded driving is the fault of the chink, or just Tesla self-driving retardation.
I've seen a few videos of Tesla's self driving and as many problems as it has, I honestly would still trust it over most Chinese and/or woman drivers. At least it won't swerve into you because it was looking at its phone or "I turn now" across 3 lanes.

Insurance companies would disagree with that assessment. Women pay less to insure cars for a reason, we're much less likely to crash or be involved in accidents. 18 year old boys pay up to twice as much to insure their cars than 18 year old girls.

Men drive 60% of the miles and cause 60% of the accidents. Male-caused accidents are deadlier (and thus incur higher liability) because we're more likely to drive fast, drunk, and/or tired.

What is interesting is that women drivers drive at moderate speeds, soberly, and fully awake...and still are involved in proportionately as many accidents as men. This suggests that a sober, wakeful man is less likely to cause an accident than a sober, wakeful woman.

This isn't anything new to the auto trade at least in Europe. Cars cost tons money to sit on lots, better take take the loss and shift sitting inventory at a lower used car price. Better than eating the cost to fix them up when they degrade from sitting, interest on the loan from the manufacturer and limited lot space.

Not necessarily proof they're going under. Renault, Vauxhall and Nissan dealers have all done it in the past in the EU market.
