The Awful Fursuit Thread - Viewer beware, you're in for a scare!

I'm surprised this has yet to be posted, but I'm a sucker for awful troonly fursuits so you all will have to suffer with me on this one here.

Since you all have been acquainted with the horse (you know who I'm talking about) I figure it'd be a hop and a skip to show you what he's inspired others to do:

Let's break down this fursuit design:

Absolutely based in no reality whatsoever! The women's guild would be furious at the sight of this! (also what the fuck is up with the feet, they're like hooves lmao)

The facial design is of rather poor choice:
The ears are mounted on the forward top of the head, not on the side of the head. The ear canals are right beind the eyes, in theory.
The mouth and the shape that's cast by the white and black highlighting of it are almost out of a creepypasta.
The hair design is a cherry on top - due to the poor positioning of the ears and the want for hair to partly obscure the face, a bundle of hair goes right down the center of the face. That's tough, bucko!

The oversized breasts are attached to the chest like dewdrops, almost in the spirit of body horror and with no understanding of female anatomy. It's as if the fat that surrounds the fictional gland lobules are attached to the rest of the body via a connection the size of the eye of a needle. Hanging on for dear life!

The hips and stomach? The fursuit equivalent of cellulite.
The fur overall used can be seen at a distance as cheap - the great surface area of the suit would make the use of quality faux fur far too pricy. I can respect that this is a baller on a budget.

Overall an unrealistic vision that could never look good in this plane of existence, someone's financial folly that will turn heads and garner whispers... Just not for the reason the owner would like.

There is a niche fetish community specifically about wearing costumes that make the wearer blind (and also can't take off because there is a tiny lock on the back.) Usually its those weird fullbody anime suits, but I wouldn't be surprised if a fursuiter was into that too.

It's because after a certain point huge breasts IRL start to look more like tumors, and if they're implants then humans can easily pick up that something isn't right from the shape or the way the skin looks. The same applies to fursuits.

It's a bizarre and gruesome rabbit hole that also shares some overlap with the female mask fetish. Wouldn't say it's anywhere close to the majority of "kigers" (as they call themselves, I'm not shitting y'all), though.

in the first image, the face looks highly uncanny
but the one in the second pic kinda works well.... shows you can really overcome that uncanny valley and make it look good
hell, i can imagine this would work for some pretty amazing cosplay, particularly of youre cosplaying a robot or doll, or something that doesnt emote much and necessitates a somewhat stiff, perhaps even intentionally uncanny face

the issue im seeing of course is that the latter mask has a closed mouth, probably making it hard to breathe, but which also adds to how much better it looks

It also helps that the second mask is more cartoonish in a way. Uncanny is really just the result of getting too close to the line where the brain says "this is X" but still getting rejected without being able to immediately place the reason without further examination.

The second image has a completely unnatural hair colour helping the brain latch onto something wrong. It also lacks any orifice as you pointed out, so it is one less thing to register as "wrong". It's still creepy.

@Cuntspiracy Man @AngryTreeRat Think part of what makes the first kiger (ironiaMarisa) uncanny is his absence of any attempt at boobage whatsoever.

Incidentally the second mask (made by ManiaJuns) is a BDSM mask I think.

On a certain date, when I was wearing kig leather and then put on a full-coverage flesh powder gel coat and classic para2 clothing, several people from behind stuffed the stuffing into their mouths, blindfolded their eyes, locked the zipper of the gel coat, and then used their heads to The shell locks everything inside, making it impossible for the doll to take it off on its own.

The doll was taken into a secret room. Seeing nothing and unable to speak, she stood aside and panicked, not knowing what would happen to her next.

Anyways rate this 1 to 10 (not lockable, I think, thankfully)

A normal fursuit has a layer of plausible deniability about it being a fetish object where it's a fantasy costume not entirely dissimilar to some of the elaborate cosplays and costumes that you see at Renaissance festivals and anime/sci-fi conventions. Weird, sure, but I wouldn't think twice about a clean suit in good condition being worn around a hotel during a convention.

The PG13+ fursuits fall into this really uncomfortable space where they're obvious fetish gear being worn in public around people who don't or can't consent to participating in the fetish, including children. Hyper suits like the one in the post, fursuits with diapers on, bondage gear, obvious SPHs, unkempt and stained, etc. The owners are wearing them in fursuit parades, hotel lobbies, and in outdoor spaces where the entire point of the suit is to advertise their kink to everyone around them regardless of if those people want to see it or not. The maskers hit some of the same notes where the whole thing is fetish-y and skeezy to be around.
