I have literally not known a single person who drank St. Ides who wasn't either a junkie or a nigger.Steel Reserve and Camo are both piss in a bottle, same with St Ides.

Lol I'm not drinking a bunch of ghetto malt liquor.Voodoo rangers taste like shit, and the only reason to drink them is to get shit faced really fast. If that's the case, you can buy 3 equally shitty Natty Daddies for the price of 1 voodoo, and get 3 times as fucked up.
Yeah, the bottles are pretty neat though. I was never particularly into pilsners because they're all too light. Even with a session beer I wanted something bold. Right before I quit drinking I was super into a style of beer called gose. They're salty/sour with hints of coriander and probably the best thing on a hot day. Sours aren't everyone's thing but you should definitely give a few brands of the style a go.Had my first Warsteiner in years today and it tasted like the worst swill, fuck the Pilsener culture in this part of country. Going out and getting something halfway drinkable now.
Woah, that one I will have to try. I am acquaintances with the head brewer at Firestone, he's a nice guy and a helluva brewer. Nice thing about Firestone is they create trends rather than follow them. IIRC their "Pivo" was one of the first czech style pilsners and of course now everybody and their brother does one.
It's phenomenal. And 20 bucks a bottle. Worth it.
I used to be the same way (Molson Canadian for me), but my uncle unintentionally changed my palette. He was always adventurous with his beers, so when I was around 20 or so, he would often offer me one of the oddball beers he would randomly buy since he knew my dad was strictly a Coors Light & MGD guy. When I asked where did he find all his beers, he just told me he would just grab random cans/bottles to try them out when he wasn't drinking Heineken. I started doing the same shortly afterwards and I'll admit I've become a bit of snob with most beers ever since, although I will still get a pint of Pilsner if I'm at a bar.Call me a puss but I don't like anything except for cheap domestic beers. Mich ultra, PBR, Landshark etc. I think it goes back to when I was five and my dad started letting me take sips of his Bud Light.
If you're able to, try the Untitled Art non alcoholic beers. The Lychee Sherbert is so light and sweet, perfect for spring weather. Their Cerveza con Limon is good too.I’m on the wagon but craving beer. Athletic Brewing Non-Alcoholic (technically de-alcoholized) Run Wild IPA was surprisingly good. Society has come a long way from O’Douls, I guess.
That's fair. If you are interested, it's best to jump into other light beer styles first (Lagers, Pilsners, Blondes), then go deeper and deeper.Call me a puss but I don't like anything except for cheap domestic beers. Mich ultra, PBR, Landshark etc. I think it goes back to when I was five and my dad started letting me take sips of his Bud Light.
