The British Summer of Discontent - The growing civil unrest of the native British population, sparked by the murder of 3 young girls in Southport

Brit here and I wish I could say I disagree with you, but I don't

I love my country, but I despise 99% of the inhabitants - from the craven fools who actually allowed our traitorous government to tell them who, how many and how long they could have people in their own damn homes during coof, to the fucking turkey's chanting "refugees welcome here!"

We can't house our own adequately and have ex-military living under bridges yet the boat-people get 4* hotels and free healthcare, Keir Stalin announces multi-millions to 'protect mosques' while pensioners get their winter heating allowance taken

But if you're pissed off about any of this you're 'far right' (better than being totally fucking wrong!), the traitor Stalin (and the traitor Farage) talk about bringing in the Army and curtailing social media, and a large percentage of the cunts who said "yea I'm fine not visiting my dying mother at Christmas, she's not in my Covid bubble-of-six" will CLAP for this totalitarian shite

Yep, I hate the British as well...

Worse, they actually believed being outside for 59 minutes was okay, but 61 WOULD LITERALLY KILL GRANDMA FOR GODS SAKE GIVE UP YOUR FREEDOMS AND PROTECT THE NHS!!

Fuck those people.

At any rate the goddamnmotherfuckingfootball is back this weekend so it will all blow over by then.

“Who’s Streets, OUR streets”
“Nazi scum, off our streets”

No white people aka “Nazis” anywhere.

Weren’t these advertised as “far right protests”

When, as of yet, has the “ far right” shown that much organization that quickly to churn out posters and advertisements for 100 protests. When have they been able to gather that many warm bodies, in person, at 100 events, at one time?

It’s almost like they planned this, and it was a propaganda event to show who is more powerful, more turnout and more support. Good for Commie moral and a blow to the Brits who are already pushing upstream against the current.

If there were going to be Nazis genociding you at these protests, why did they bring their women and children? Notice the other days, when there was actual patriot Brit’s out, there was only rabid fighting age men in masks with weapons.

Not only that but because we have a first past the post system (whichever candidate in a given area gets the most votes wins, meaning that voting for smaller parties is wrothless), big parties can get massive majorities without that much support from the population, while small parties can get a lot of votes and have little to no representation in parliament. For example, Keir Starmer's Labour only got 33.7% of the overall votes, but they hold 63.2% of the seats in parliament, giving them a massive, undeserved majority.

Meanwhile, Reform got 14.3% of the votes but only seven (0.8%) seats in parliament. Similarly in 2014, UKIP got 12.6% of votes but only obtained a single seat.

This system makes it close to pointless voting for small parties unless they have very strong local support. It shows how strongly people feel that so many millions of people still made their feelings heard by voting Reform despite knowing it wouldn't count. Many others with similar feelings voted Conservative to avoid wasting their votes.

I'm rambling, but the point I'm making is that not only do people not have the choice to directly oppose immigration, but they don't have a viable choice to vote for parties who disagree with immigration, because the system is set up to benefit the existing big parties.
And a political vacuum, where there’s no-one for a population to vote for that it agrees with, is a recipe for disaster. See: Russia in 1917, Germany in the 1930s etc etc etc.

It’s ridiculous that less than half of the population votes in general elections, and if those that do, only around a third voted for the party that now runs the country entirely. No-one in the upper echelons of power seems to be interested in why British people aren’t voting. Instead they’re using the opportunity to hoard power and enrich their business buddies. When less than half of the population vote, you have to ask why that is. My suspicion is that it’s because there aren’t any political alternatives on offer, not really (Farage’s party, perhaps). Everyone else - Labour, Tories, Lib Dem’s, Greens - are all just more of the same, with slight variations on whether they know what to call someone with a dick. What’s the point in voting if your voice doesn’t get heard, or if the issues you see around you are being ignored by the available political parties - and it’s next to impossible to start your own political party because it costs so much money and the media would eviscerate you. No wonder Brits are angry.

I could be wrong. Maybe people just genuinely don’t care how the country is run and assume everything is fine. Maybe they’re so uneducated that they don’t know anything about politics so don’t take part. But even if that’s the case, it’s something a good government should want to know about and should work at combatting. You can’t hope to have a population that is peaceful, productive and supportive of the country if you don’t listen to their issues or care about them. What’s currently happening is the government are telling us that we’ll damn well eat our shit sandwiches for tea, and anyone who doesn’t pretend to love every moment of it is a hideous monster that should be locked up. They’re supposed to do as we say, not the other way around (naïve, I know, but that’s the basis of democracy). Damn right people are angry, and all successive governments keep doing is shovelling more shit for us to eat.

I dunno what the answer is, or if there even is one that can be summed up easily. But we can’t carry on with politics in the U.K. being the way they are. It’s not working. Problem is, every govt benefits from the system not working, so they don’t bother changing it…

All it needs is some charismatic orator who’s listening to the common man, especially if they get some financial support. Then we really are fucked (hopefully not, but history doesn’t show great odds in this kind of situation). Talk about doing all that work in WWII and then not learning anything from it at all. The power structure in Britain is being so unbelievably stupid right now, but evidently change is absolutely verboten. No wonder the population can’t be arsed to vote.

The depressing thing is, UK politics is a festering boil.Doesn't matter what happens, in 18-30 months, Rachel Reeves, who has been Chosen by the WEF will be in charge because that shit is all part of the plan. Who we vote for, what we want, does not matter, because She Has Been Chosen, and Alea Iacta Est.

If voting mattered, if it made a difference, do you really think they would let us do it? It's all a sham and a ruse.

He absolutely is. He was frothing at gash of locking UK population down ad infinitum because of Le Dreaded Coof. He must be wanking himself into a frenzy at thoughts of a travel ban for people in the UK.
Ain't all that the truth!

Ultimately we know they all serve the same paymasters, there's no 'red' 'blue' yellow or green, just a mixed murky shade of WEF brown shite, but Stalin would still have us on curfew, masked up in our own homes in bed

The fucking warning signs were all there...but people are stupid, it seems

There's only one party I'd possibly be tempted to vote for (Heritage) but they didn't stand in my constituency and with our system as it is, good luck with getting any candidates into Parliament

I don't understand why the government seems hellbent on grinding down the only demographic worth a shit.
This "muh poor white working class, salt of the earth they are" routine from the right wing of the political elite is a Damascene conversion of the last ten, fifteen years. That's what's confusing to non-UK people watching this. Your confusion is coming fromt hat fact it is palpably false, but you don't have the context to understand why.

For the last, oh, forty years, the principal target and kicking boys of the right wing politicians has been something called a "benefits scrounger", a "a family living off welfare", or "those in council houses the rest of us pay for". Often "single mothers living off the dole", or "people who are really fit to work", or even better those who did not "get on their bike" have come in for particular hammerings.

Not merely rhetorical hammerings, either; the actual safety net element of the UK welfare state has been systematically chopped down, branch by branch, over those years. There was a particular bonfire of the welfare backstops under Cameron and Osborne, in the name of 'austerity'.

The overwhelming majority of people in the UK who claim any sort of benefit are in work. It is important you know and remember that. The Tory spectre of the "workless household" only exists in those households where someone is severely disabled, and the disabled are genuinely struggling to live at all due to what has been done to disability benefits and social care in this country in the last fifteen years.

Any person you hear bleating that they "know someone who doesn't work and gets everyfink" is genuinely as believable, and equally propaganda-captured, as a nice middle class journalist telling you "Islam is a religion of peace".

The working class, when they still had semi skilled industrial work in the UK and were unionised, were the major resistance to Thatcher's implementation of neoliberal globalist economics, and the Tories have never stopped punishing them for it. The unions are long since broken, the industries are gone, and the Tories still have not revenged themselves enough on the uppity poor folks.

Farage was very heavy on the "benefits scroungers" until about 2011, when austerity kicked into overdrive and he spotted an opportunity to pivot to a now entirely pissed-off and non-represented market segment. Since the ex-working class in deprived areas have been the most culturally enriched by immigration, they offered the most sympathetic ear to discussion of how this wasn't actually working out very grand, and something should maybe be done about it. He saw an opportunity, and took it.

A large part of the 90s and 2000s demonisation of those people who had the effrontery to be in such low paid work that the government actually propped their wages up with benefit top ups (the famous tax credits) was done via TV and print journalism. It was the daily fodder of the Mail, the Express and the fucking Telegraph seven days a week until Brexit came along.

The TV journalism was even more mocking and derisory. You probably have heard of the Jeremy Kyle Show, where the poor and genuinely learning disabled were "bear baited" in the words of one High Court judge every weekday morning. (Repeated in the afternoon.) You may also have heard of the programmes Benefits Street, and The Scheme. They weren't the only ones by a long chalk. I do not know how American media speaks of the poor people of America. I can tell you that if you check out those programmes above on youtube or elsewhere, you will see the upper middle class journalists speak of the poor like literal feral animals, for the edification of the lower middle class viewers, who hate those "from the schemes" with a passion.

The memes flying about regarding the rioters are all zeroing in, with laser accuracy, on the class of those people. The usual jokes about teeth missing and not being able to read and council houses and all that. That contempt is seething.

It suits the current right wing political elite to indulge the chavs, bams, neds, pikeys, junkies, council house scum, and everything else they call the 'white working class' when they aren't being polite, right now, for this one purpose.

But don't ever fucking fall for it. They hate these people. They sold off their houses, leaving them at the mercy of slum Asian landlords that charge them rent they can't afford for houses black with mould. They exported the industries that gave them work, and replaced them with 'graduate entry' shit-piad work that they couldn't even apply for. Then they told them to "get on their bikes" and leave their own communities to become rootless economic migrants, anywhere that would have them.

They shut their libraries. They systematically underfunded their schools. They made it financially impossible for the clever ones to go to university and claw their way out. They invented unpaid 'internships' to make absolutely fucking sure that unless your parents were well-off, you couldn't get a foot in the door of 'their' professions.

They invented a system of benefits that was designed to hold down their wages and send their wives and mothers out to work. When that didn't hold down the wages enough, they mass imported other workers from anywhere around the world to undercut them even more, and to disrupt their community cohesion such that there will never again be anything like the miners' strike. There will never again be a massive strike where the communities support the strikers to hold out as long as possible, because the communities no longer exist. Now there are places where some white people haven't been able to afford to leave where brown people now live. That's not a community, it never will be.

The people you are seeing in the streets have been ground down into what they are and how they live by over forty years of relentless, intentional, institutional abuse from politicians on every point in the spectrum.

Don't forget that when you look at them. Don't be angry with these people, whatever you think about what they are doing. What these people want is out of the relentless meat grinder their betters have forced them into for decades now. The only thing that a change of government has ever done in that period is accelerate the work on nailing up all the escape hatches the poor once had to a better life.

What these people want is hope, and this country is run to make fucking sure they will never get any.

And whatever you do, do not for one fucking second believe that even if it was possible to undo the deliberate flooding of working class communities with immigrants, that the political elite of this country would not find something novel and interesting to hammer the proles back into the place they think they belong: the dirt.

They pulled the ladders up and left the working class to die. The upper middle class will never ever take its boot off their throat.

@UselessRubberKeyboard (couldn't quote you or reply) give this guy a go:

No idea why but sharing the video won't work, I've tried three or four times and it just takes me to a video on the live riots I've not even watched 🤔

Against all the WEF agendas, far better than Farage (who is establishment to the bone marrow) and Reform, yet barely get any mention in the MSM... can't think why, lol

Why are things so bad? Police morale is in the toilet and they've been bleeding manpower and funds for over a decade. Almost everyone in the job resents it, the police is haemorrhaging officers despite its ongoing efforts to recruit more people and to try to retain the ones they have. This is after years of cuts to both funding and personnel, so they're understaffed, equipment is old and decrepit, and every copper has a caseload that they couldn't hope to get through even if they worked 24 hours a day. This is why they fail to even respond to so many reported crimes, and it's why the ones they do bother to respond to rarely get solved or prosecuted. If you think I'm exaggerating, here's an example of the pure bureaucratic incompetency of our institutions: there was an issue a little while back caused by fears over GDPR, which meant that CPS demanded that police officers had to go through and manually redact any potentially identifying information from CCTV footage they planned to use in court. Reg plates, faces of passers by, you name it. And when I say manually, I literally mean a copper sitting at their PC removing things from video files one by one.
If some officers happened to be mincrafted--accidentally of course--morale would sink even further.

Panopticon bullshit doesn't work if people don't man the machines.

The government will definitely have deployed its propaganda machine to convince people that all the nasty stinky nazis have slunk away and the fearless defenders of multicultural harmony are braving the streets to protect them.

The UK government works with (or at least it used to) a company called Zinc Network, formerly Breakthrough Media Network. Their website is about as creepily worded as you'd expect:

At the center of our work are people and communities. To reach and influence them, we work with large organizations as well as a network of grassroots partners – those closest to the issues we tackle.

We design behavioral science informed interventions that change attitudes and actions for the better. Our creative teams work with partners to ensure the work engages and resonates with the target audience. We develop partner capabilities, embedding our methods and ideas through training, support and collaboration. We encourage and compensate genuine advocates for the causes we support.
