Them trying to censor the videos is not going to bode well for them and will have a Streisand effect. Because The Completionist has a very Mr Rogers like Internet Persona where he wants to be seen as the good guy I think Mutahar and Karl Jobst pulled their punches massively because they didn't want his audience to go after him.

Now they have a Cassus Belli.

Yeah because most of them are either friends with him and don't wanna speak up cause they all have equal dirt on each other's wrong doings. So they fear if they don't defend him, he'll start whisper networking them. Which I understand sounds crazy but think about it and how it's happened with other creators.

He makes a lot of people sign NDAs so they can't speak up which is something that did happen with his former partner Greg.

I think it's always worth noting that anyone can make these claims, and no one except YT -- and maybe not them -- has any idea who actually originated a claim. There might be a name attached to it, but I, for one, am glad that can be faked. I don't want my identity attached to anything.

(don't get me wrong, I think they're guilty AF, but a troll is a troll)

It's usually the first one. Most mid-level "YouTube Influencers" are in a sort of mutually-assured destruction scenario where everyone knows about everyone else's skeletons in the closet.

It could be anything. From dirty finances, with scams, bribes, and various grifts to sexpest stuff with minors, weird fetishes, and nudes.

It takes an astronomically big fuckup to leave yourself open to retaliation-free shots. And this fuckup might turn out to be big enough.

A pity. I liked Jirard, but it sounds like he has something to hide that he's not gonna be able to dance around without the feds/IRS cartoonishly eyeballing his charity. Completionist better hope he has good lawyers and receipts, because this can and will sink his reputation harder than ProJared if actual crimes have been committed.

I bet its not. I would generally default to some Occams Razor position but the simple answer 'they just let the money sit there'' is just too stupid to be believable.
