Degenerates ousted Jon over debate drama, ProJared, Jirade, PBG and others. That circlejerk defend other members, older members even moreso. They defended ProJared until his dick pics started making rounds.

When IRS outs the scammer, the whole lot will end up looking complicit in fraud. That will be one hell of a shitstorm, lolcows and milk galore.

Nah, I agree with your Occam's razor explanation. The possibility of it just "sitting there", with convoluted explanations, requires a lot of assumptions and justifications. The money being fraudulently spent with convoluted/duplicitous explanations is far simpler in my opinion.

It's absolutely fucked that Jirard has held onto those funds while advertising that he's giving the money away to certain charites..

The fact he asks if he should just "take the L" in regards to the negligence Muta and Karl had brough attention to just makes me realise what a mong he must truly be.

Why admit you've been taking donations that don't go towards anything? Regardless of excuses, that's half a mil that hasn't gone towards anything to further the development of research towards dementia.

Oh its definitely one of his family members that's taking the money. Jirard doesn't have the cojones or the brains to do this.

Which would then escalate things from charity fraud to tax fraud, as they were claiming they had ($600,000?) cash remaining on their filings. That said, I wouldn't be surprised that even if they were just spending it, they kept some of it in case they had to make a donation to someone in the event that they were caught.

Besides the returns themselves, what I found really damning was the fake quote from the prior (long fired) Dean of the UCSF. There really is no good explanation for that deception.

It may sound reasonable to do so, but maybe they just wanted to discuss strategy with a lawyer first and till then just lay low or maybe the lawyer even told them to not show anything to the public for now for some reason.
ProJared did something similar when his shit hit the fan and released a video only after a while, telling his side of the story, which he definitely prepared/checked with his lawyer.

I think that youtube just thrust fame upon too many unsuspecting people who become horrid from it. He was already part of a well off family before so I don't know if that's an excuse.

Can we coin a new N-word category slur, like Youtube Nigger? Tubenigger? The common denominator is always youtube.

Jirard was keen enough to remove himself from non-paying Internet phone books, the rest of his family hasn't. Not saying it definitively, but wouldn't be surprised if one of his family members in the org did, not understand how the Internet works.

Also, lots of anti-white racists in Jirard's fanbase.

even if the money has been unused outside of administrative costs it’s still being wasted, they’ve basically been paying people to do nothing for a decade with money meant to help the needy.

It makes zero sense for them to tout all of the organizations in their charity drives but not give them a single cent. I’m half arsed to reach out and ask them directly what their relationship with open hand foundation really is and if they are aware that they are being peddled in this scam
