The Elder Scrolls

It's the collection aspect and the over the top nature of it in general. That's it, as retarded as that is. I'm a very simple person when it comes to mods. If it's not vanilla+ or blends in with the vanilla game I usually don't like it. I don't want to be reminded "this is a mod" at every turn. Which kinda makes modding pointless for me because that's not what the community focuses on

Unrelated: I need help bros. I've been trying to find an ubobtainable(?) Battle Axe that I'm pretty sure was added with dragonborn. Lodged in a pedestal. Red hilt. I've scoured the USEP and cannot find any reference to it. Maybe I'm overlooking it, idk, but I know it exists. I haven't gotten around to doing Dragonborn on this run and I'm not even close yet so I can't just go find it myself. It's driving me crazy.
Lol that bitch ain't coming out anytime soon.

That's the best part, without all his schizophrenic ramblings Elder Scrolls becomes another generic fantasy game.

I don't know much about his personal beliefs, but I'm pretty sure the 'trans' shit in Morrowind is just Vivec being a hermaphrodite, which was based on the Bhuddist stuff about being both spirits or something. I can't speak to his more recent writings though.

Kirkbride has a degree in comparative theology afaik and all of the things people call gay/troon in MW is essentially just lifted from Hinduism. Vivec is pretty much Ardhanarishvara.

Troons calling him trans/intersex/nb whatever are retarded, but chuds calling him "woke" for being hermaphrodite are no better. He is very cool.

Kirkbride is woke because of the woke shit he's said on reddit and on forums. Not because he ripped off Hindu theology for Vivek or whatever.

Kirkbride dickriders are only marginally better than Kojima dickriders tbqh. It's funny how nobody ever brings up any of the shit he's done for the past 20 fucking years and just constantly rides his dick for Morrowind and his fan fiction.

Kirkbride is absolutely a woke tard full of himself, but I'm just being nitpicky, I do see people call Vivec's ordeal woke shit every once in a while, disregarding his inspirations and such. Same coin as the troons, just the other side. Tis all.

His stuff is good when Todd is here to wrangle him.

Does anyone here has that screenshot of the guy on Skyrim reddit talking about how woman were nerver nice to him in his life and Skyrim allows him to take revenge with an image of a decapitated npc woman attached? It became pretty infamous a few years back and was connected to an incel discord group

That guy just needed to get an Altmer wife to sort out his problems.

Vivec is unbearably cool if you're not a retard and understand that he's just some faggot white guys take on Street Shitter religion. Unfortunately that's a small minority of us. The vast majority of "modern gamers" only see the loose hermaphrodite sex pest shit and latch on to that as vindication of their horrific porn addiction indiced troonery.
You fucking Saint, thank you so much. If I could do anything other than give a worthless reaction I would.

Heavens, I've not paid attention to TES modding drama for almost a decade and reading this makes me happy I didn't. It's also a good thing that Starfield is bad, TES6 is a years and years away, and Fallout is fucking gross so these disgusting dramafag trannies might just burn out and ACK! themselves in the meantime.
What do you mean "fallout is gross"? If you don't mind explaining.

Morrowind is strongly based on Hindu and to some extent, Arabic nomadic culture, yeah

With that said, future Elder Scrolls will be as bland if not more as Starfield with New Bethesda and as such we will never get to have proper cultures and civilizations again outside the most basic level

Valid opinion. Look forward to your thoughts after 1k hours in Starfield before mods, and than again with the next TES

I haven't play a Bethesda game since Skyrim. I didn't liked how Fallout 4 was looking so I didn't buy it nor did I buy Starfield. As far as Old Bethesda goes, I hate Oblivion, like Skyrim and Morrowind and love Daggerfal.

Also the only game I have even close to 1000 hours in is Wasteland 2, which reveals my autism levels

How can you hate Oblivion at worst it's middle of the road.

I am not really sure what made me dislike the experience but I tried getting into it, couldn't. I think it is a combination of me already not liking the generic fantasy aesthetics with the extremely uncanny npc faces and AI, the speech minigame, the more primitive level scaling and the way it handles spell casting

Spellcasting in that game is way better than skyrim. A single button instead of having to constantly swap between weapons is a literal godsend.

As much as I like being able to cast healing without swapping out my claymore, or toss a fireball without losing my shield, Skyrims mage gameplay is way more engaging than Oblivion and Morrowind. If they'd have let us cast simple spells without swapping our load out it would have been the best of both world, minus the lack of spell craft. And even then, spell crafting was just a game of "how OP can I make this spell with the lowest magika cost". Spell craft did allow for very hilarious power leveling though.

In reference to my quest to rediscover Hrothmunds Axe(thanks @NPZCC): the unofficial wiki lists it as totally unobtainable. It doesn't even mention that you can get it with mods, unlike all the other unobtainable items. Which you can. I've found mods on even PS4 that make it available. Very odd. It's not even LISTED in their unobtainable items lists. It's just a footnote in their rundown of the associated dungeon. Not sure what the deal is with this stupid axe. You'd think that since its the single most unique 2 handed weapon thats not only in the game, but has its very own unique model, that it would properly archived. But it's not. Yet we have articles for the nonexistent "dohvakiin sword" which has a generic Daedric Sword as its placeholder.

I usually play as a pure mage so that is not really a problem for me, I do find that despite the larger spell variety in Oblivion, magic feels less impactful/fun to use than either Morrowind and Skyrim.

Also I usually like playing as either a werewolf or a vampire which in Oblivion the former isn't possible and the latter is even more annoying than in Morrowind, as you at least had the clans and more than one quest in Morrowind, plus the only vampire quest in Oblivion forces you to get cured

And the cure quest in oblivion is as much of a curse as the actual affliction itself iirc. If I'm right you end up needing a black soul gem with a grand soul. So either you need to be a mage capable of soul trapping or pray to the 9 that you find a merchant who has one that you can buy/steal before the sun deletes you in .7 seconds.

Which I almost admire. Vampirism is a curse afte all. No one other than the most depraved individual would voluntarily accept it. But it just doesn't have nearly enough benefits to make the option worth it.

And while skyrim definitely makes being a Vampire viable, it kinda shits the bed for Lynchenthropy. You have ZERO downsides other than not getting a rest bonus for sleeping, which is just a measly 10% or so exp boost, and you're unbelievably squishy in your wolf form. So there's no real reason to ever choose to become a werewolf outside of roleplay. At least being a Vampire gives you access to spells and a whole quest line and items that are only available if you're a Vampire. Werewolves don't get shit other than a cool looking axe with a based enchantment that isn't useful outside of very specific scenarios.

If Vanilla Skyrim allowed for more than one ring slot, the rings sold by the werewolves at frostmoon crag would make Werewolf pretty strong combined. The best you can do in Vanilla is get the Tokens of Hircine for some power up and decide between one of the frostmoon power boost rings or the ring that allows you to transform when you want

I've been playing with multi ring mods for so long I forgot you can only have one in skyrim. And I've avoided the werewolf form outside of the actual companions quest I forgot you even had werewolf rings. Thanks for the info.

Of all the things bethesda decided to streamline, restricting us to one ring is the most baffling imo. That and combining Chest and leg pieces into a single slot.

It is funny because the impression I always got is that the Ring of Bloodlust and the Ring of the Hunt were initially designed to be used together.
Ring of Bloodlust: While in Beast Form, your attacks do 50% more damage, but you also take 50% more damage.
Ring of the Hunt: While in Beast Form, your health regenerates. Frostmoon Predator, Health regenerates 100% faster. Regenerate an extra 1% of maximum health per second.
