UI doesn't feel bad at all, leagues above the modern gray box cod minimalist dogshit we get. It's like a mix of skyrim/oblivion UI + all the good bits from the UI mods for both games.

Gotta disagree here, the fact that I have to hover over each individual skill to see how close they are to gaining a point is going to drive me insane. UI isn't anywhere close to where I would want it to be so far. Maybe it won't matter as much with the new skill system but it's still a pain in my ass.

I was watching Zaric play the game for a few minutes and the game crashed. His impressions so far have been to wait for a discount if you want to play the game.

My only question is, what’s new? Anything? Any new quests, armors, weapons?
Not really? Just the stupid creation club deluxe edition shit which is the standard "go here fetch this here's your creation club content". Not that it needed that IMHO, skyblivion is what you want if you want "new". It's oblivion remastered, first game I've ever felt accurately used the term remastered. It's just oblivion.
Has it been gay and transed up?
Other than body type A and B retard shit, no, it's just oblivion.
Is the combat still hitting each other with pool noodles?
No. This is something they for sure have improved, or at least it feels like it does. New weapon animations and NPC hit reactions + it seems like they beefed up the combat AI. I've actually had to time my blocks since if I'm just sitting there block they'll pause and power attack, not just wailing on me.

I haven't even checked that so I wouldn't know. But I haven't felt the need to check my skills yet. It's kind of the best of both worlds between the skyrim/oblivion levelling systems, a marked improvement. I'm pretty sure they just ripped it straight from the oblivion mods that "fix" the levelling system.

Ok. I just realized something massive that it seems they skipped out on too. There's a bunch of cool perk shit under the skills called mastery that you get every 25 levels of a skill.

There's a combat dodge in acrobatics, that's so fucking good.

That used to be +50 Acrobatics so it's nice they lowered the requirements.

Sad news all, I've just been trying and unfortunately scroll duplication is fixed. Tbqh on PC I never understood the need to dupe / glitch anyway when you have access to the console.
There's a certain appeal to being able to break a game within the limitations of its own rules.

I know I could just give myself infinite money in Morrowind, but I still end up crafting potions and whatnot.

i raise your vance to a bogged sigrid i found on 8chan.

Part of the problem with the characters models, again not all of it, is that a ton of Oblivion NPCs have exaggerated facial features that translates extremely poorly when made into ultra HD textures and shit loads of polygons. It's like those images of ultra realistic cartoon characters.

It's rather funny the decision was made to keep Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles in the main purchase but Horse Armor was put in the "Deluxe" Upgrade. All of this of course was content made in advance prior to the game release.
They remade the Game of the Year edition. That one lacked the various minor DLCs.
