The General Thread

If anyone is interested, The Greatest Movie Ever podcast, just put out an episode on Equestria Girls. This is a good podcast and they have made I think 2 or 3 Pony bonus content podcasts, which is how I know about MLP shit. These guys aren't bronies though, so their podcasts on MLP, aren't cringeworthy, and they do say some interesting things. I still am not an MLP fan though lol. This podcast is on iTunes, sometimes they talk about movies they hate, sometimes ones they love, its a good podcast, especially if you like cult classics, or obscure movies.

My friends signed up for a fake Shapes Fitness membership using my email. They also set the name as "Dolly Parton," and the phone number is 222-2222 (the number for Pizza Hotline).

The second one isn't nearly as funny.

Last night I was in Manhattan for the first time in months and I discovered they now sell tiny bottles of wine in Penn Station at the little bodega stores. I had the guy at the register pour me two into a to-go cup. I am the essence of class.

Holy crap, my dad got a text on his new phone from some guy at the strip mall wanting to buy weed. Well, that's why the last guy lost his number, he got busted

Dude, your dad can start growing weed. He already has a client.

The Star Wars fan in me wants that to be real, too.

On a more serious note . . .

One of my Facebook friends posted about a local woman who was the mastermind behind an adoption scam, while another one of my Facebook friends is hoping to adopt a child.

People, what Chris has done is potatoes to what these scammers are doing. Just when you think people couldn't get any lower.

Its not at all uncommon. People will take advantage of desperate couples and scam thousands, even tens of thousands from them.

I guess I'm just sheltered then. All scammers are awful, but that scam struck me as especially offensive. The people who scam donations after a natural disaster are up there as being lowdown scumbags as well.
