I've come to terms tonight that I cannot allow myself to watch any Matthew Broderick movies for a long time because I will wind up obsessed with him like those two dudes in the Tiffany Documentary we brought up in the Chris thread a while back. Turns out, SFM fucked up during rendering or something. It looked like this when I tried to watch the AVI from my computer, but I just assumed that Windows Media Player was glitching out. What really sucks is that this was a History project that's due tomorrow (or today, I guess). I'll have to re-render the video.
EDIT: I re-rendered it. Same result, only it didn't take half an hour to render.
EDIT 2: I re-rendered an old video, to see if the same thing would happen. It didn't. I have no idea what's going on.

Fought out my depression last night with pizza, political talk, and by just writing. My brother and my dad were talking about the government shutting down, which somehow managed to get my mom into the discussion, defending the Republicans to some extent, which brought my sister into the conversation and she mentioned something about legalizing marijuana, which got me to stop sulking and get involved, which made me talk about Germany, which made my other sister get involved. For the first time, the whole entire family, dog included, was in the same room talking about politics without ripping each other's heads off (and watching college football, UT was playing). Found out my sister is probably going to be a bleeding heart liberal just like I was when I turned 14 (she turned 14 like a week ago). Whenever we told her something about how the US works, she replied with, "WHY? THAT'S SO MESSED UP! THAT'S NOT FAIR!" Maybe we can volunteer at an animal shelter together some time.

Not to create a shitstorm, but what do you guys think about people who seem to trot out their kids autism whenever possible? I see it a lot in reviews for things on amazon. Like tonight I was seeing how much a button maker was. I saw this review for a button maker:

This is a neat little product. Could be hard to open and close at times, but not a big deal. I haven't any problems with it falling apart. I use it for my autistic son and for school when it's a day that allows children to forgo their school uniform and participate in fun activities, such as spirit week. My son only wants to wear his uniform, but I use the button and print out something that goes with the daily theme and he will wear it on his shirt. I've also used it and printed out "Birthday Boy" on all of my boy's birthday for school and for their parties. I've used these myself for Autism Awareness, Breast Cancer Walks and other events. I've got a family of six, so this particular product worked out for me very well.

Like, why can't you just saw your son loves having his own buttons, instead of trotting out his autism? you know?

I gotta be honest I haven't been keeping up with Samurai or Megaforce, Yeah its great that Saban rescued it, but I feel the writing quality went down. I just want to see the big Mega Force cross over eps. I like Sentai too, I mostly seen handfuls of various 90's Sentai though. Deka Ranger and Spd, its American counter part, are probably my favorite shows for both franchises. Although I did love Timeforce.

Samurai is Shinkenger with a few new elements added and dialogue toned down. Megaforce is just a mess and I want everyone who tells me "OMG ITZ SO GREAT! GOSEI IS AWESOME! VRAK IS A GREAT VILLAIN" etc to tell me why. Why is Gosei great? Why is Vrak a good villain? I figure it's only fair because they want me to justify my liking of Samurai over Megaforce (charmingly bad acting, time spent out of suits, episodes have a plot outside of the fights, etc).
