I used to love escalators as a kid. Even if I'd just wind up walking on them instead of standing still like everyone else.
Good luck!DevilDog said:Getting my ACT scores tomorrow, really hope I did better than last time. I spent so much time prepping T_T

Well, yeah, I used to do that all the time in high school, but the work I have is just making a two sentence summary of an article, and it's not due until Monday of next week. So I tend to procrastinate like crazy because almost all of my work is like that. I'd just like for once to not be worrying about it all week. Oh well. Power's back on, so maybe I should get to work.KatsuKitty said:The Hunter said:We put six recycling bags out by the curb. They got blown a block away. >doing homework at home
Dude, seriously, something that's changed my life? Dedicating up to eight hours a day at school to work on homework. So even if it's a relatively easy day, I stay in the school building afterward and do my work there, up to eight hours, like a full-time job. If something takes longer than that, pick it up in your spare time the next day. It doesn't have to be every day, I book it out of there early on slow afternoons. I never do homework at home anymore, I put up a solid wall between school time and leisure time, and home is always leisure (or side project) time.

I really hope she's all right. You have my sympathies. The Hunter said:A local 16 year old girl with some kind of relation to my friend went missing. They say she disappeared in a neighborhood in Mexico. Normally, I wouldn't be so terribly impacted by the news, but I've been watching documentaries about innocent people who are abducted and tortured and raped. The thing is that these documentaries were incredibly graphic and described every awful detail of it.
I'm scared. Very, very scared.
