March 8, 1993 was also the day Kevin Smith started writing Clerks.

That was a pretty good day for the 90's.

I really want a hug right now. No particular reason, I just like hugs.

Went to the mall with my family and done got my hair did. Lookin' fab now. I also need new boots because my boots have been falling apart since last year (they were being held together by duct tape). Eyed a nice pair of Wolverines, but we remembered that I have no dress shoes and I have a wedding to go to tomorrow. We'll probably be back for those rad ass boots on Sunday or next weekend. I'll be sure to take pics of them if I get them.

Oh dear GodJesus I hear the MLP:FIM theme coming from my little sister's (she's 12) room.
On a side note, I just watched Hotel Transylvania with my family. It was okay. I don't think I'd watch it again. I did get a few laughs out of it, but it was full of character archetypes, the dialogue was clunky, the movie was way too predictable (I predicted the ending a minute into the movie, and guessed 85% correct), the climax was a total cop-out, and it's got that stupid "liar revealed" story that I hate in movies.

My sisters are 12 and 13, and they haven't given MLP a rest since they were babies.

I watched Hotel Transylvania a few months ago. The animation is what really made it. The story was meh.

Oh, the animation was great. We watched it in 3-D too. It didn't really add anything to the experience, but still.

Speaking of movies I saw Wreck It Ralph todasy, how that movie lost to Brave in the oscars is beyond me.

I saw neither, but I think I'd be more interested in Brave than Wreck-It Ralph, tbh. Wreck-It Ralph looks extremely mediocre to me (not saying that Brave looks amazing or anything).

Wreck-it-Ralph was pretty good, but the second act was a little weak. There was too much focus on Vanellope, and the game references were traded in for food references. They also only went into three games. Three. In an arcade full of games. There was a lot of untapped potential.
And this poster was false advertising.

Every character on the poster (except Ralph) only gets a quick cameo. I assumed they'd all be main characters. Hell, most of them only get one line, if even that. But I'd still watch it again.

Personally I find Brave to be a style over substance movie, it certianly has great visuals but falls flat in the story and character department.
