The General Thread

So everyone, I've sorta gone AWOL since Christmas day at 8:00AM. I woke up on that fateful morning to find a very lovely Christmas present. Since then, I've been away from the Chris fandom and I've been fangasming and sperging on the other. I'll explain, but just don't bother reading it if you're not interested.

Remember the Power Rangers?

Well, since about 1994, there has been footage of a few monsters that went unused and simply became lost as the years went by. Things got even messier when Disney acquired the rights to Power Rangers in 2001 and liquidated and destroyed a lot of sources they found they did not need. Well now the footage has been found by another source, and it's awesome. Too awesome. A lot is at stake in concern of what's truly in this footage. Fans have speculated, rumors have been spread. You wouldn't believe how different the Japanese version of Power Rangers is, and there was a lot that was censored as the series progressed.

Since I'm a big nerd for this shit, I reported it to the fandom, and have essentially been wrangling around there.

Perhaps when something big happens for Chris, I'll be posting back to my usual standard. :sighduck:
 
I just got back from seeing Anchorman 2. Holy shit, was it funny. I wasn't very sure that it'd be as good as the first one, but after about three minutes, I lost all doubt that it wouldn't be. In fact, I think it's considerably better than the first one. I also loved all the callbacks. Seriously, there were a ton of references to the first movie, but luckily they weren't every five minutes. They were occasional, except for in the climax, where they somehow managed to fit like, seven in ten minutes. There were some parts where the movie dragged on a bit too long, but other than that, it was great and it definitely lived up to the massive hype.

Go watch it.
 
If someone tells me to "adjust my standards" to be able to enjoy something, doesn't that mean I have to lower them?

lol, I saw something similar to this ages ago. Are people still falling for it?
 
Resident Evil, I really dislike what you've become. It is really horrendous when I co-op with my lover and we're doing nothing but laughing our asses off at the final boss in Leon's campaign. Also, I really want to wreck Chris with a boulder, what an angst soaked baby. The best part of his entire tale was the fact that I kept singing Justin Bieber's 'Baby' due to his partner Piers looking uncannily like him. At the very least, Ada's fashion sense was dazzling; you could tell they spent the entire budget rendering her to look perfect. Going back to RE4 or maybe Dead Space now...
 
I had a dream this afternoon that my doggy had dentures (she's actually missing a great number of teeth irl) and I had to take them out of her because she had just finished eating. I pulled them out, and she went "GRRRR!" the whole time.

In the same dream, I had to write a comic book for a college history class that was due on June 1st. I was stealing storylines from Seinfeld.
 
My sister is watching Tosh.0 (I'll kill her later), and they're showing a video of Fatman drinking a bowl of gravy. AUGH YEAH

You know, maybe if it was the middle of Spring or Autumn or something when it's seventy billion degrees and not the middle of Winter when it's a chilling 97 outside, I'd share your opinion.
