The Greater Kiwi Farms - or the Größere Kiwi-Bauernhöfe if you prefer

What monthly amount sounds reasonable?

  • $40 (300 to goal)

  • $30 (400 to goal)

  • $20 (600 to goal)

  • Not interested

If someone closes off comments on their profile, I'm not sure they even belong on this website.
Even if you leave the comment feature on, if you restrict visitors, they can’t comment.
Which means I can’t comment on yours lol

That’s going to make clocking newfag troll accounts a little harder. Can’t just check for “GORILLA NIGGER” on their profile anymore.

@Null there are 20 pages so I'm not sure if it's been addressed, however how do international users pay for the special shiney new shit? Can I send you an amazon gift card or something so you can buy some cheese and/or banana pepper seeds?

I think $40 x 300 subscribers is probably the most realistic way to achieve the goal. I think the advantage KF has is that it has a very strong core of users who are exceptionally loyal to the site, so loyal that you have a great deal of leeway in terms of how much you can charge monthly before a significant portion of that core becomes unwilling to pay. The bottleneck is less their financial means to make monthly payments, and moreso just how many people there are in the core base that are willing to pay a subscription and not just make a one-time payment for T&H.

The safest way to shoot for the goal, then, would be to make a conservative estimate of how many willing subscribers there are in the core. It's more likely you have 300 people willing to pay monthly than 600. If you underestimate and exceed $12k a month, great. And if enough people say that they would be willing to subscribe, but $40/month is too high to justify it, then you can just lower the price and onboard them.

Seconding this, the solution is US centric. Will there be an international method?

Some might be into being a monthly paypiggie but most are content with the one-and-done style donation. For example, giving $20 to wikipedia for helping you graduate your diploma mill program, or $20 to Kiwifarm after a few years of reading up on lolcows and their farmers. ~$500/yr would involve those with enough disposable income and a serious kiwifarms addiction, not sure how big that demographic really is, but 2.5% of daily users sounds about right.

Mostly good news, but I don't like the account privacy feature.

Profile posts have become an interesting avenue for navigating the site, because you can jump from one user to another, check out funny slapfights, discover interesting memes only posted on personal accounts and of course see what the other users engage with, which often leads to discovering a new fun thread that you might have previously overlooked.
Sure profile posting is gutter trash tier, but it has its charm, and almost functions as the sites back alley. This kind of disrupts the flow of things, it sucks when you're following the strings of an autistic slapfight and then just get interrupted by an "oops! you can't view this profile" message.

There must be a different way to regulate profile posting?

Could there be consideration of a complete Presidential pardon for banned members with these changes?

A lil APC? A lil CorbinDallas? Bit of StrangerNeighbors?

It's not just loyalty. We all know Kiwifarmers aren't broke ass poors sucking on welfare like some sites we know.

There should be a study done on the average wealth of a community in comparison to how many times the word nigger is said. There may be a corelation

Josh will never admit this because it affects his bottom line, but the absolute worst users in any online community are the paypiggies. Just look at @CECA Loather, the man is a brainless wretch. The only people excited at the prospect of a paypiggy edited first page are the paypiggies who want more eyes on their mediocre posts. Every other feature will be dedicated to unfunny discord news curated by drug addicts. Stick with the other paypiggy perks and discard this idea. It will only make the site worse.

I'm not finding any post about it, did you tweak the auto Highlight system to ignore the points of ⏰Late reactions? Or even count it as negative points toward getting Highlighted? It's annoying on very active threads to see the same screenshot highlighted 3-5 times.

Do IBAN numbers work in America?

Crypto in Europe is supremely cucked. The jumping I needed to do to get crypto for T&H was a fucking pain

I actually postmarked a reply already explaining this and I've answered this question maybe 4 times but I guess nobody is going to use the highlight system I worked on anyways.

Payment must be in USD. If it's not in USD, I cannot deposit it. It doesn't matter if it's from Qatar, so long as it's in USD.

40 seemed high. I will low ball you and go 20, but 30 wouldn't be the end of the world.

A dollar a day.
That's more or less my feeling, I'm weighing the idea of 40 in my head but I'd skip one faggy avocado toast per month to send 20 in to the forum. As long as my bank doesn't totally jerk my cock around on the check thing it's not the end of the world to jump through some hoops, hell to get T&H I had to hand the vietnamese (?) guy at the post office a cashier's check with my username hand-written on it and hope he didn't ask about it. If the bank asks about it I'll just tell them it's a porn subscription.

All these beautiful white babies don't pay for themselves you know!

After its up and running, of course
