That makes me all the more curious to watch it seeing this is the same company that looked at green lantern, birds of prey, and Jonah hex and thought they were screen worthy.Supposedly, the test screenings were so poor that they're concerned it would cause irrevocable harm to the DC movie brand were it released. Which, considering the reputation the brand already has, suggests it was pretty astonishingly bad.
I think it has something to do with the tax write-off. If they write it off they can't release it in any form and have to destroy it.I really can't see how they wouldn't just dump Batgirl, a 90 million dollar movie on one of the streaming sites, It has to cost almost nothing to put an ad on Youtube/Twitter saying its coming out on HBOMax. Leaving a basically finished film unreleased is such an unheard thing that I feel like this will happen within like the next 2 years.
Also there's apparently some Scooby Doo movie that is finished which is facing the same thing.
That women like watching true crime documentaries about people being dismembered and men like seeing the dismemberment happen on screen in movies.
Classic example of the DC DoctrineThey're certainly attempting some sort of strategy, but it doesn't make any sense to me.
Women are retarded and only watch shows about tranny couples househunting and getting makeovers, whereas men enjoy Art films by creators such as Zack Snyder.
If I had to choose one, it would probably be Industry. Or Warrior (even though that’s still technically Cinemax).I was about to say, HBO has a long list of ongoing shows, but almost all of it's shit. Succession and Righteous Gemstones are great, but rounding out the top three would be hard.

There were massive reshoots on Jonah HexThat makes me all the more curious to watch it seeing this is the same company that looked at green lantern, birds of prey, and Jonah hex and thought they were screen worthy.
Jonah Hex is still a sore spot as I loved those comics growing up and to this day I don't know how they fucked it up so hard. Was it just dumb shit studio meddling or what? Jesus fucking Christ all you had to do is make a gritty cowboy movie with a rough and tough protagonist with facial scars. God damn it should be relatively cheap to make for a comic book movie. You don't need super powers or much CG just a few half decent actors and one that that can swing a gritty deep 4 pack a day voice and doesn't mind some latex makeup. God damn I fucking hate Hollywood and the degenerate retarded faggots that infest it.
That was old boss and old leadership. New boss is saying if its shit its not coming out? That makes me all the more curious to watch it seeing this is the same company that looked at green lantern, birds of prey, and Jonah hex and thought they were screen worthy.

Josh Brolin was a perfect choice to play Jonah Hex. It just sucks that they squandered that opportunity. There were massive reshoots on Jonah Hex

I read an interview with Josh Brolin where he said they reshot 66 pages of script in 12 days. It was a total mess. It's a shame, because there have been some pretty good Jonah Hex comics.
