The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Astroturfing is EXTREMELY common as part of marketing campaigns today utilizing paid shills, comment mills, and bots,
This was incredibly blatant with the Fallout show. Not a single bit of positive coverage for that felt organic, and everyone remotely critical was drowned out beneath a sea of bot replies and epic zoomerbot owns.

Should be pretty clear by now given how Neil Druckmann & Herman Hulst have forced everyone but their own clique out at this point. Not only in Naughty Dog but pretty much across the company.
Days Gone 2 wasnt allowed to be made because Neil is the only one allowed to have a zombie game
An Uncharted Golden Abyss port or sequel were both denied because Uncharted belongs to Neil and he'd rather have it die than let anyone else touch it.
She was forced out and it's even obvious why, Neil cant stand being told his ideas are retarded and shouldnt be implemented. He never stopped seething about his original plan for TLoU story not being made. He probably raged and seethed at Amy for not liking his ideas like Nadine, where once again Amy would have been 100% correct, everything Neil changed in Uncharted 4 made it worse and all of its good points are what Amy had already done
Don't forget the feedback from the gamejournos, they hated the game because it had a hwite male protagonist.
Honestly, Days Gone was a bad game and I am convinced that anyone who claims it isn't never made it past the first third of the game because it absolutely NOSEDIVES in quality from there. It was mid before that (especially the very basic and dated gameplay/open world design), but enjoyable enough as a rather straightforward zombie game (as long as you ignored Deacon getting mad at Copeland for being right about everything), however, after the scar gang gets killed by the dam, it just plummets into the dirt. Obviously TLOU2 shouldn't have been made, but neither should Days Gone 2, so at least they accidentally managed to do something right.

Good example, I didn't think of that off hand, but yeah it had incredibly artificial support and marketing. All of which very predictably dried up the moment the contract did, because all the shills and bots stopped at the same time.

I liked it a lot. It's not without its flaws - Deacon's a bit of a hypocrite (can't let those murderers live so I better murder them all) and the way he doesn't give two shits about some BIG discoveries about the zombies bothered me, but it's a good game that could've used more time in the oven (or an expanded remastering if you will). A sequel could've greatly improved the story, but considering how god-awful Sony has been with sequels it may have been a mercy. I just think it deserved one far more than some others.

I've enjoyed Horizon, Horizon 2 and now ghosts of sushima; is LoU worth it? I feel like I've seen and heard so much about it throughout the years but never actually sat down and given it a chance.

I watched the Abby segments and I honestly quite liked them, having no investment in the story, so doubt it'd kill my enjoyment.

i mean i think its alright, like gameplay wise its well made. and at least 2 has that no return mode and part 1 has multiplayer (if playing the remaster not the remake)

The general consensus here is that the first game is pretty good, although I recommend the PS3 or PS4 remaster instead of the 2023 remake if you can get your hands on it.

LoU2's gameplay on its own is considered good but the story is heavily divisive, so you're probably going to have some strong feelings on it if you decide to pay attention to it, especially if you love the first game.

Ok, since people discuss that awful show here, then I think it is worth mentioning here as well.

Recently golfed from the show Pedro Pascal decided to show top levels of originality and slammed J.K. Rowling for hating trannies to the point of calling her 'slut' or 'shit' doesn't really matter and 'heinous loser'. The only surprising thing coming from this is the fact that he didn't do it sooner, since he went on "Thunderbolts" premiere in London wearing "protect the dolls" t-shirt.

It's even less surprising if you consider that his brother is one of them..

Not that it matters, but I’ve had the unfortunate experience of interacting with this cunt irl for an extended period of time. Others I know have been “slammed” Using the proper phrasing— flamed by him and his goons online. He’s insufferable and his me-too cannot come soon enough.

Now with cancellations becoming out of fashion, maybe he’ll get away with whatever henious shit he’s done. Cannot wait until he goes away

One of the first times I can actually use The Last Of Us II's golf scene as an example of something that was done better than the shitty adaptation. Is it me or is this show super astroturfed? I was a fan of the first game and none of what the show did ever held a candle to it other than having a nice Depeche Mode track that exposed more normies to it. It almost amazes me how hard HBO fell off when they had lightning in their hands in the 90s-2000s.

I've been seeing headlines that included his "disgusting s***" quote, But I assumed he was just an ESL calling her a "disgusting shit". Is the term slut really being censored now?
That's exactly what it was, judging by the context.

From the article itself:

Kiwis (not you) itt assuming he called her a slut are equally as retarded as redditors who don't read articles and comment on titles, and I don't like to see it. Do better, the infromation is right there.

Kinda hilarious that he's calling for her ventures to fail, when he's attached to some major failing IPs.

The Fantastic Four film has zero hype and people are too apathetic to argue about the gimmicky gender and race swaps, and he's going to appear in the following Avengers movies that will only flounder because no one gives a shit about the MCU anymore.

That Mandalorian movie has zero hype as well because the third season shit the bed so hard that even normies tuned out from boredom, and Gladiator 2 only made cat ladies yawn and watch their Gladiator Blu-Ray for the 399th time to flick their bean to Maximus.

Even if the Harry Potter reboot may not do that well in later seasons, the first season, at least, will take off as normies will tune in as it's... well, Harry Potter. If anything, he should be groveling at Rowling to be cast in that series so that his track record won't look so much like a bell end.

Just another reminder to everyone of how Pedro became a star that is in everything now:
Not just that, Pedro was born in a political elite Chilean family with globalist leftist connections. José Pedro Balmaceda Pascal is his real name. The Balmacedas have been involved with Chilean politics since nearly the the beginning of Independent Chile and are decedents of Basque nobility. Jose's Great Great Grandpa was the 10th President of Chile (The Chilean military totally didn't get involved in his "suicide") and his mom is Salvador Allende's niece (The Chilean military with Mi General totally didn't get involved with his "suicide" either). Pedro and his transgendered "sister" probably got in acting when his mom grease some of her elite club friend's wheels in America.

Remember when you cared so much about other people's rights you didn't bother to defend Gina Carano's unpersoning by Disney, Pedro? Why does Hollywood hate actual women so much they see the UK declaring YWNBAW as the worst thing since Drumph?
