Why would lovecraft write a "racemixing bad" story right after finding out he's welsh?

Because to his anglophile mind? Being part Welsh was horrific. Lovecraft's attitudes weren't just "Whites good, darkies bad". Within the category of "White" he had a clear hierarchy of superiority within which he could be just as insanely racist.

What's funny is, later in his life he apparently went socialist and dropped a lot of his White/Anglo supremacist opinions and decided other cultures, specifically Native American ones were great...but should be great doing their own thing, and that cultural mixing and assimilation was what was really really bad.

This...has made members of some of the usual offenders for idiotic hugboxing on transreddit VERY salty, never mind that both of these subreddits will agressively call out toxic positivity bullshit.
And so the usual suspects have been joining and mass reporting the usual 4tran lunacy to attract jannie attention, and this has the 4tranners rather angry.

Wild thread. Still trying to work my head around the mentality of ftms making these memes. Then again I suppose there's a shit ton of infighting in the tranny communities. I'd have thought if any actual trans people are making these memes, it would be from the "truscum" crowd would be the ones making these memes with the rather naieve assumption that trans men just want to be left alone and the vast majority of people they wouldn't consider "real" are literally just lesbians who want to fill out a fetish/attention so bad they destroy themselves. But fuck knows what goes in the minds of these people.
And honestly, I'm willing to concede. While there are no normal MTFs, just some who are less dangerous than others, There are 'normal' FTMs, the ones who have no affiliation whatsoever with the trans community and probably just act like regular people. But these memes don't exactly apply to them because they are 1, extremely rare and 2, given the nature of their condition they are quiet about it.
