Some of the interesting names that the pooners at my last job gave themselves were "Shaye" "Vermilion" "Krys" (spelled exactly that way), Kassper (ditto, what is it with troons/pooners and ridiculously-spelled names?) and Yoltan.

Shaye was the most recent hire that stank up our workplace through her clothes from a few feet away. I do not miss being assaulted by the odor of a forgotten open can of anchovy paste.

If we're talking pooner names, the overall pattern does seem to be names from the current top 100 and/or those that sound soft, non threatening and could possibly be interpreted as gender neutral (especially if the pooner in question can't commit to the identity of "man" and is a he/they). Those that pick names you'd expect on a boring average grown man are incredibly rare.

They're actual mans names that real men have, they're not quirky and special enough for ridiculous Pooners, Pooners pick names with some variation of Aiden like Jaiden, Kaiden, Brayden or Raiden, that or Jasper, or some fucking faggy anime name from Fujo manga.

Strongly disagree. As a gay man with mostly female friends, while there are many women who don’t care, there are TONS of women who will completely dismiss a man based on their age (knew a girl who would never date someone with the same birthday or younger than her) or height. It’s also really creepy to me how attracted women are to height. I’ve seen women fawn over ugly guys just because they’re tall. This was especially true when I lived in Japan.

I've seen "Casper" be used also. They scrounge around for the most unthreatening softboi names they can possibly find, I think because the idea of being an actual man who's treated like an actual man scares them.

This has been proven countless times by now with all the pooner posts lamenting how much they hate being "invisible" and how no one cares about their feelings since they're "men" now. One pooner even cried over her Alice boyfriend expecting her to carry the heavy shit and do the yard work :story:

I thought it might have been because she thought men have darker hair than women naturally, and I'm actually being educated here: European-descent men are three times more likely to have black hair than European-descent women, and women are twice as likely to be naturally blonde!

What's it with pooners and trying to be goth?
