The Real Game Awards (2025) - Troons getting BTFO for real praise

Yesterday the Real Game Awards had their first ever award show. Basically the idea was instead of giving gaming jornos over 90% of the vote, Craig had it so actual gamers are the ones who chose the winners.

I'd like to focus on the drama between two game devs.
1. Nightmare Kart - A game that used to be Bloodborn Kart before the tranny dev got a C&D and had to just turn the game into Nightmare Kart. A sort of PSX era graphic game where you drive karts around in a Bloodbourne like world.

2. Selaco - a boomer shooter made in GZDoom set in the future.

Nightmare Kart won best racing game of the year. No DEI slop, no tranny shit, no woke agenda. Just a very fun kart racing game set in a unique setting. Upon learning that they won the award, the troon dev does as all troons do and had a public meltdown over winning the award trying to spin this into being a victim. Right now if you were to go to their X or Bluesky, or even the actual Steam page for Nightmare Kart you will see the dev going on a lockdown freak out with well over 700 replies on X hidden, hundreds of threads locked on Steam and they had to do this all manually.

In the process of trying to get the archives to work, and dealing with both devs going on blocking/deleting sprees. Doesn't help that a lot of this is also coming from Discords where getting hidden replies or deleted replies is even harder.

Haha, I quite like nightmare kart, the dev did a good job. I guess it’s time to leave a positive steam review congratulating him.

It's a fun game, but the reaction Bunlith has been having is making me glad I didn't pay a penny for the actual game seeing how they can't even accept an award without acting like a mentally ill moron.

Troons are not capable of being happy. They'll get all the praise in the world, win a major award, win the lottery and immediately after start bitching pissing and moaning about some petty slight and inconvenience that suddenly means they're the most oppressed people in the world.

Well that's the one thing they have in common with real women I guess.

I watched it and it was cringe. I rolled my eyes every time Seller Blade won a award beacuse i know EXACTLY what kind of person that would spent 30 dollars to have the privilege to vote at the award show to look like (here).

I also felt kinda bad that AVGN was on the show. he dosent play game modern games. He has no idea about the hole woke business going on. He probably got tricked by his kike boss and thought he would do Crag a favour since they known eachother for so long.

If they wanted to be taken "seriously" then they failed. having waifu/husbando awards and having games on that wasn't released in 2024 was the final nail.

Really all you need to say is "Razorfist was there" and everyone will immediately know how shit it was.

I hope they do it again. Best case scenario it gets better. Worst case I get to laugh at it again next year.

Hell, they had that Camelot guy on and if you know his backstory, you know the shit is tainted.

Its funny smash JT was there and it just so happens he is getting sued by Alyssa Mercante. The person who won the WORST game journalist award in the show.

True, that's pretty dumb. I get they're trying to have fun but it's not comparable to TGA, which was allegedly their goal.
