So, the Koreans are pissed off that the new expansion, Snowy Escape, has Japanese themed shrines in them. They're conflating all shrines as evil because of what Japan did in Imperial times.

The Star Wars pack is selling like shit, so much so that EA is trying to trick people into buying Journey to Batuu by having a pop-up when buying any other add-on say JtB is required to access all content.

They gave in to the Koreans. The shrines are still there but you can no longer bow to them (not sure how that makes it better) and they changed the design on a kimono because the pattern could be interpreted as the Japanese 'rising sun'. You know, in an expansion set in Japan. Japanese are pissed now and vowing to never by another EA game. SJWs have also jumped on the bandwagon to whine bout cultural appropriation.

Thanks for the heads up, however they just updated foundations so they can be used on every floor and called it something else. You could already do this on ground floor as shown below


The thing that has always bothered me about this implementation along with another one where you can place a bed on top of another with 9 and 0 comes in two forms:
  1. The first one comes in the form of "bb.moveobjects", I often forget to activate the trick before entering lots that I forget require it and this often causes for the debug items, the beds or something else to break completely. It can be fixed by returning to the main menu or in some cases exiting the game and loading the lot again, it's a simple annoyance but it's an annoyance that requires loading times that drive me off the wall in advanced games at times in order to fix.
  2. And the second one comes when saving rooms. I like saving built rooms and using them for other households as much as every person however using foundations or in this case platforms forces you to save multiple rooms in order to build a single one unless the foundation or platform is in the middle of the room, which is highly inconvenient whenever you have a bed on the ground and another one above it as rooms will always be saved with 4 walls and objects that intercept with those four walls or are above the floor such as floating beds, ladders and stairs will be deleted.
While I appreciate new building tools (Still waiting for a water decal that sims cannot step on EA) that allow for new features such as building foundations on second floors, I've honestly resigned myself when it comes to bunk beds with mods, someone already did a functional bunk bed and a tall bed that you can place a small desk underneath that do not conflict with anything and occupy the same spot as a normal bed, I don't get why a group of over 100 active team members (If the credits of Journey to Batou are to be believed) cannot be bothered to implement such a simple thing.
 
Stuff packs are 50% off right now ($5), I think Game packs are 25% off and I believe Eco-Lifestyle is 50% off as well (lol).
Caved and got three Stuff packs, just waiting for Spa Day to go down a bit more.

Do y'all think Snowy Escape will hit the Bundle feature or go on sale before Christmas?

With the release of the new expansion, it introduced tons of crashing problems. So they pushed out an update that made crashing even worse. Fucking EA. I don't see how they're not working on Sims 5 and phasing out 4 at this point, the expansions seem to be made by a skeleton crew.

And yeah, trying to get you to buy the Star Wars game pack is scummy as fuck.

damn i don't feel bad waiting for my refund to go through to play then lmao
(I had wanted to purchase the $40 bundle with Snowy Escape, Spa Day, and Spooky Stuff, and I had those three packs selected in the Origin app, but when I switched to the browser to purchase it because the app was glitching out, I guess it had saved when I had selected Fitness Stuff instead, and I had to request a refund for the whole thing so I could change the stuff pack. I don't know why the in-cart information wouldn't be consistent across the app and browser?? Money, I guess lol)

Are they still trying to do Sims 5? They can't seriously expect people to drop 4 (or 3) and move to 5 after their disappointing history of erecting more paywalls and not fixing bugs with 4 lmao

Bet you it is going to be a return to The Sims Online. Probably why they keep hassling the FreeSO people.

I doubt it, they may implement something unnecessary that requieres an online connection like Sim City, however the risk of them landing in hot water for allowing pedophiles into their life simulator servers with kids and teens while trying to promote a friendly image for their stock holders is too big these days.

I agree with the online requirement part. But the pedophilia bit is contradicted by the woke diversity at the top of your post. Those people love pedophilia and would never use child abuse as a excuse not to do something.
