Man, the setup of the premades in 2 was fun. It gave the game just a little bit of structure. I wish they'd continued that.

i wasn't a huge fan of the Calientes but ended up liking them after watching this machinima. (I just restarted pleasantview and I'm currently renovating their house). Alexander is super ugly but there are some "genetically correct" hoods that use his actual ancestors to make him so he doesn't have such a ridiculous face, i still give him plastic surgery and make it genetic anyway.

I tried sims 3 with all DLCs recently, to see how it holds up and uninstalled it after 2 days when michael bachelor disappeared on his way back from college, after i suffered playing him in those shitty university rabbitholes. With Sims 4 i don't manage even 2 days so...1 and 2 is best. And some of the console sims.

yeah when i first got back into sims 2 i saw all the pascalXnervous shit so i went to check if it would happen and nah, nervous has zero nice points he was an ass to everyone in the house. The new pack for sims 4 had some really awful clothes for men, the kinds that only fujos and gays could like.

I never got into into either mostly because story progression is too intrusive. It didn't matter what you planned for your sims, the game always took over their lives the moment you switched households. Once you came back, they either died, aged, married some ugly sim and had children or worse turned into an occult. I know alot of simmers wanted something like this since TS2 due to the "I want my sims high-school friends to age with them", but the way it works sucks.

I swear, Story progression on Sims 3 gives a loooot of troubles, if you don´t mind random townies dying and more drama and random romance, I really suggest you NRAAS story progression with perks, it´s the best I swear, also If you hate the suddenly immortal sims that sometimes happen with vanilla EA story progression, I also suggest you ErrorTrap + MasterController, I never play without those mods, they are awesome

I won't bother with the sims 3 because I already have a lot a mods to fix the sims 2. I just don't have it in me to install a million mods on another broken game. Plus the sims in that game are boring, they never want to interact. I am content with sims 2.

I used to be pretty active in the Sims 2 community back in the day (and enjoyed playing with the premades) and this is the reason why I stopped posting my family pictures on Tumblr. I have never had it happen either, and they all swear it’s autonomous. The idea of Nervous and Pascal never even occurred to me till the internet pointed it out. By then I rather liked the idea that no one but the Beakers knew Nervous existed, so.

Maybe there's a mod that modifies the behavior so interactions like that are "autonomous" but they leave that out because they either assume everyone uses that mod, or because they're being sly on purpose (definitely this one).

It's been a long time since I played with TS2, but I think I remember hearing about a mod to make flirting more likely to happen. Risky woohoo, maybe? That device you could buy that had a ton of cheats enabled on it? The mesh was that science career console, I think.

If you play TS1 and are looking for custom content, the Internet Archive has a ton of stuff. I used to hang out on CTO Sims when it was an active forum. They saved a shitload of old CC from long-defunct sites. I even recolored a few objects there. I haven't looked at the IA's archive of their stuff, hopefully it's complete.

Yeah, ACR makes everyone way too horny, and the worst ones are the sims with aspirations that are NOT supposed to be about fucking all the time. I have it and even with that, 0 flirting with those two Strangetown guys.

Aren't all sims technically bisexual though? They start with 0 attraction to both, but as they flirt more with guys, attraction to males always goes up and goes down for females and viceversa. Even "the coding" thing they say is dumb, just make a lot of sims interact romantically with each other and they will start getting romance wants, ACR or not. That includes Nervous!
