Well, think about it like a court case. You all are the plaintiff's, and DSP is the defendant. You are putting the burden of proof on DSP to prove he is not the same person. But that is not a good argument as to why he IS that person. It would be like saying "This person committed a crime! How do I know? Well, do you have proof he DID NOT do it?" Also, the second argument you brought up frankly does not support anything. I have never been in the same room as Obama at the same time, thus am I Obama? DSP streams a lot, is the claim really that he streams all day then spends all night on a mobile game? When does he sleep?

As to why the WWE guy did not disprove it, again why is the burden of proof on him? If anything, he probably wants to be kept anonymous. I would not want to show my picture online in a mobile game. But I do agree that a discord conversation with voice would be easy to do should the WWE guy choose to do it.

In a civil case it isn't "beyond any reasonable doubt" it's "most likely based on a preponderance of the evidence" i.e 51% sure. Most people are 51% sure it's him on WWEC.

Well that's just it, he clearly HAD done enough reading, or at least as much as he felt like, because he showed that he knew things, but did not have any kind of appreciate for detail like we do. I mean, just take the topic he chose to focus on: WWE Champions. I started following Phil after the bankruptcy saga started, and at the time, people were posting in the comments sections for detractor vids about it like it was true, but here, not everyone was convinced. It took months of the evidence piling up to the point where it became nigh impossible to argue it as being hogwash before regulars around here started treating it as more than likely true. I wasn't here when DSP first got his own section of the Farms, but I do know that his rep today is far worse than it was when I first heard of him around six-seven years ago, and based on what I've seen, it seems unlikely that this place was ready to shit on him for absolutely anything right away, without any real evidence of him being a stupid asshole. FFS, even the regulars are sometimes taken aback by a new low that Phil reaches.

He harped a lot on the "retard" insult, but had no hesitation to be antagonistic. He harped on the fact that we dunk on Phil while having never met him, as if being one of the few people to stand in his presence these days would do anything to change our minds about what kind of sniveling paranoid chickenshit he is. He can't even claim that he defends Phil because we haven't proved our case, as he ignored evidence we presented (almost proudly, I might add). He never gave a shit about the case against Phil, he came here to get spoonfed info about the text analysis program, poke holes in it, and walk away feeling victorious.

My favorite part is the implication (intended or no) that we ourselves didn't already listen to the entire call, analyze the shit out of it, and figure out that the context didn't illuminate jack fucking shit. Or, rather, it did, but what it illuminated is that Phil and transparency are not friends, because at no point did he state what game those microtransactions were for.

While we're on the subject, it was really stupid of him to utter that word during the hearing. We all know that he buys, at most, DLC for a handful of games, and so mention of microtransactions is going to get us thinking of Champions, not the AAA games Phil typically loves to stream. That matters because even though we couldn't derail his bankruptcy, we live in his oddly-shaped head rent free.
