Why does he hate It's a Small World so much anyway? The ride is harmless, The worst thing I can say about it is the song can get a little annoying sometimes, but it's not a big budget thing, it's an innocent kids ride.

Every interpretation of that doesn't work out that well. Either he's implying the Dems are weak and outside groups want them in power or there's a restriction on everyone who's not a "cishet" white man registering to vote or other conclusions that aren't a good sign for any party involved. This is another case of being too partisan to think. People who place all their hopes on a political party are universally lolcows.

Between 3,000,000 and 5,000,000 illegal immigrants committed voter fraud in this past election and voted for Hillary Clinton while not being US citizens, and she still lost. So what was that about the Democrats winning every time? Maybe the Dems would have a better chance of winning if they ran a candidate who isn't scummy, human trash?

Not to mention that the whole point of voter registration is to avoid things like people from other countries interfering with our election process by ensuring that only US citizens can vote.

Didn't want to mar your post with a hard disagree, but I don't buy the 3-5 million number for a second. That is a huge number of illegal votes, to the point there should be massive, unignorable evidence of voter fraud and inferred disenfranchisement of legal votes (i.e., that illegal immigrant's vote cancels out your valid one). That being said, I do agree voter fraud is a much bigger problem than the Dems or the media (BIRM) want to admit, and absolutely an ingrained element of Democratic strategy. Bit of a powerlevel here: I live in a reddish / purple island in a deep blue area. When my mother died a few years ago, we found out it is absurdly difficult to get a dead person off the rolls. They require the death certificate, an in-person visit to some bureau, proof of relationship to the deceased, etc. It was especially difficult at the time because, of course, everyone was still raw from the death, and by the time we had gained a little equilibrium about it, no one was thinking about getting her off the rolls anymore. If there's a valid reason to keep a dead person the rolls, I'd like to hear it ... but every time someone tries to get the rules changed here, the Dems fight it tooth and nail. It tells you something. I certainly agree with Tony that when the dead can vote, yeah, the Democrats will win every damn time.

Like I said, I haven't seen it, so I can't comment intelligently on it. (Not that that's ever stopped me before.) But I sorta sympathize with the guy that it's ridiculous to think you have to be highly intelligent or otherwise of rarefied tastes or knowledge to understand various things. I just find it kind of self-flattering.

On the other hand, I can completely appreciate that a smart show will have bonus nuggets of entertainment for people who are in the know for certain things. Futurama was like that (personal favorite such moment: "You changed the result of the race by measuring it!").

And yeah ... it's frustrating when dimbulbs like Tony write off the smarter concepts as just technobabble or what have you.
