At this point I feel BG&E2 is a lost cause. Even if it comes out it's going to take a miracle for it to escape the curse of being a UBIsoft game, but Mario+Rabbids proves it's possible.
I want to see that EMPRESS meltdown but the nfo doesn't seem to be up on any of the nfo trackers.
You're missing out on grade A lolcow content if you don't peek at the big-name or drama-related ones.
Ages ago a game named Boktai : The Sun is In Your Hands came out for the GBA. It has an ambient light sensor built into the cartridge. A group named BATMAN cracked it badly (language autoset to French on boot) and didn't provide any way to manipulate the light sensor value making the game unplayable. A few hours later they released a '1.01' patch to apply to the already cracked game to fix it.
It was nuked and a day or two later a release named boktai-fuckbatman appeared:
IIRC, BATMAN flounced hard from this and stopped releasing altogether afterwards.

Odd thing I noticed today: You know how Just Dance is a yearly franchise that gets ported to everything? 2023's edition is 9th gen platforms only, no PC, and it's not even getting physical releases. Kinda weird for a series that had a release on Wii back in 2019. It must be doing very poorly nowadays

The impression that I get is that they're running out of songs to dance to. Almost all the classics, and even songs one is not supposed to make a choreography out of, have been depleted. New releases are hit-and-miss for this kind of thing. Essentially, it's going the way of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, except as far as I know they haven't thought of releasing a version solely based on one artist.
A personal bone: They never released a version where I could redo Thom Yorke's routine from the Lotus Flower music video. I will forever hate Ubisoft for this missed chance.

There were a few single-artist games that were Just Dance in all but name. Michael Jackson: The Experience and The Black Eyed Peas Experience, as you may remember seeing in bargain bins for years.
There was apparently an ABBA and Smurfs one, too. Golly I can't imagine why they don't do those anymore

Oh, I do recall those Experience games in the local bargain bins. I didn't think those would be Just Dance style games, I thought they were more DDR than anything. I shudder to imagine what the Smurfs must be like.
I also seem to recall a few Kids versions, where as the name implies, was aimed at kids and were mostly comprised of hits of yore such as the Twist, the Hokey-Pokey and the Watusi.
If they truly wanted to milk the dry cow already, they'd release thematic ones, like Disco or 90s Techno/EDM. Ah well, what do I know or care, I thought the series had stopped a few years ago anyways. I'm not sure Ubisoft will go the way of Konami, but it sure isn't releasing enticing stuff anymore.

I've seen most of the terrible music games since a college friend was obsessed with music games in general and we'd flood him with shitty ones for any occasion that required gifts. The smurfs one was Just Dance with random pop hits and a couple smurf related parody songs. Bad, but nowhere near the level of Disney Eurobeat DDR in terms of pure ear cancer.
Funnily enough we all wound up with copies of that DS Michael Jackson game. It was just knockoff Ouendan/Osu/Elite Beat Agents and decent enough to warrant the 3$ it went for.

I think it's safe to say that the milk from the Rainbow Six Siege cashcow is gonna be drying up soon enough in the near future, especially with the current player numbers right now. While this is for Steam on PC and not 100% reflective of the entire game's state on all platforms, I think it's really also showing a recent trend that people are fucking sick of Ubisoft's bullshit. I've also noticed a lot of YouTube channels who used to focus almost entirely on Siege have moved on to other games like Warzone, CoD, or Valorant, or just flat out quit the game entirely.

The red flag for me was the “are you really a girl” question in the FAQ section. How is that relevant info to how I need to pirate your games? Only Troons usually get caught on that for obvious reasons.

Macho Duck isn't too terrible. Otherwise Night Of Fire is it's ONLY saving grace, which IMO should have been on a normal DDR game.
idk why Konami didn't do more songs from ParaParaParadise, the Dynamite Rave Y&Co version they added on SuperNova was one of the few good things from that game.

100% this, from the first release i downloaded that had the Fitgirl moniker in the title i instantly knew it has to be a troon. Empress was more obvious in being a troon with its unhinged behaviour but there's no way a natal woman would be doing something as tech-autistic as scene release repacks.
