Far Cry 7 will reportedly see players attempting to rescue their kidnapped family against the clock (Eurogamer)
Oof, a ticking clock not only takes away from the freedom that Far Cry games are supposedly about, but the typical person that would be an Ubisoft fans strikes me as being someone who doesn't enjoy having to race against a ticking clock even if it is 24 real time hours.
That just says to me that the game is either going to be extremely short, or it'll be nearly impossible to beat without microtransactions that extend the clock.and seemingly must be completed within - 72 in-game hours, equating to 24 hours in real-time.
IDKThat just says to me that the game is either going to be extremely short, or it'll be nearly impossible to beat without microtransactions that extend the clock.
This is ridiculous. It's like they have no idea of what Far Cry is all about.Far Cry 7 will reportedly see players attempting to rescue their kidnapped family against the clock (Eurogamer)

i mean, at least its going for something different this time. most of you guys complain about this game being 100+ hours of work basically and this switches things up (plus it was sort of a game mode for the past 3 far cry games already i think) i will watch with caution what happensFar Cry 7 will reportedly see players attempting to rescue their kidnapped family against the clock (Eurogamer)

As someone who loved Dead Rising before 4 came out, this sounds mighty interestingFar Cry 7 will reportedly see players attempting to rescue their kidnapped family against the clock (Eurogamer)

I'm a Far Cry fan at the end of the day, which has gotten me shit on here.i mean, at least its going for something different this time. most of you guys complain about this game being 100+ hours of work basically and this switches things up (plus it was sort of a game mode for the past 3 far cry games already i think) i will watch with caution what happens
I actually like Watch Dogs 2. It's a better GTA than GTA now. However, the quirky, happy-go-lucky characters with their anti-establishment mantra goes against the trigger-happy, guns blazing formula this genre is known for. Or, it's an accurate representation of how morals would go out the window to achieve whatever you want in the name of social justice.I actually liked the first Watch Dogs quite a bit. Blowing up chunks of Chicago with my phone while gunning down mooks with Rise Against blaring? Damned fun.
Then Watch Dogs 2 turns it into a quirky hipster satire thing, and I bounced off that hard.
Five former Ubisoft executives have reportedly been arrested by French police following a year long investigation into sexual assault and harassment within the company.
According to GamesIndustry.biz, Serge Hascoët and Tommy François are among two of five executives to be arrested following an investigation into their behavior.
The investigation proceeded allegations that came to light in 2020 of harassment and abuse at the company. At the time over three dozen current and former Ubisoft employees blew the whistle on how women were treated by the France-based game studio.
Shortly after the allegations Serge Hascoët and Tommy François both left the company. According to the plaintiffs’ lawyer in the impending case, the behavior of these former Ubisoft executives “reveals systemic sexual violence.”

Another half-billion dollar investment that goes nowhere.
I actually didn't even know this game would be released soon.
