Have they done all 3? I hope they remake Rage Wars and include online play, that was a lot of fun.So Night Dive finally got around to remaking Turok 3. For some reason they removed the souls leaving enemy bodies when they're killed, but otherwise it's pretty good. I'm having a great time.
Yeah it's been a while since I've been able to enjoy some rage wars without it crashing. I don't remember if the cartridge was like this, but every rom I can find starts self destructing after about 4 campaigns, but yeah 1-3 are available on xbox and stuff. The first two even take the old cheats but in 3 you need to unlock them for some reason.Have they done all 3? I hope they remake Rage Wars and include online play, that was a lot of fun.
Despite beating Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1-3, and Bloodborne; I have yet to beat Elden Ring. I found returning to the game and summoning constantly whilst also using the other summons made it a bit more fun/varied. It's not really an answer to class/weapon but I find most of my hang ups tend to be because I like to smash MAX STR MAX VIG BIG AXE BREAK POISE HAHA builds. Old school great clubs were a lot of fun. I'm sure self buffing magics are still overpowered somehow.Fromsoft buffs: If I wanted to faceroll my way through most of Elden Ring, what would be a good starting class/early weapon to build around? I've started and stopped the game a half dozen times and really just want to explore and experience it one last time before the expansion, so I'm looking for something easy to play as.
A Strength/Faith build with a shield. Allows you to counter-attach after blocking and the Faith part lets you either dabble into range spells, become a spellsword and buff your weapons, and/or heal. While Flame of the Redmanes got nerfed a while ago its still pretty good with decent damage against large groups of enemies.Fromsoft buffs: If I wanted to faceroll my way through most of Elden Ring, what would be a good starting class/early weapon to build around? One of my favorite nobrain builds is a strength/arcane build with a bleed upgrade. Multihit dex weapons are the conventional bleed weps du jour but heavier strength weapons can proc bleed in like two hits, depending on the enemy. Get a multihit ash of war and watch the fireworks. The guts greatsword is available early but is quite heavy. I'd just go for something like hero starting class and rush castle morne for the claymore.Fromsoft buffs: If I wanted to faceroll my way through most of Elden Ring, what would be a good starting class/early weapon to build around? You don't have a computer for every room?drag my computer out to the living room
Not yet but I like your thinking. You don't have a computer for every room?
There's, iirc, two versions of the game, one that won't let you finish the game and a revision that fixed it. Maybe you have the wrong ROM? But you say you tried others so idk, worth mentioning though.Yeah it's been a while since I've been able to enjoy some rage wars without it crashing. I'll take any opportunity to shill Hotel Dusk and Utawarerumono, both are great visual novels (though mixed with the adventure/TRPG genres respectively, not pure VNs).I’ve been going on to The Visual Novel Database for the past few months, but next week I’ll be trying out so visual novel games that are not just Higurashi and Fate related. If anything, it could be a great change of pace from all the other video game genres I’ve been known to play.
Well the original black cart apparently had a bug that wouldn't let you finish a campaign in co-op, but when I try to emulate it what happens is that the game crashes in single player on the 1st boss level with certain characters, so I haven't been able to catch them all. There's, iirc, two versions of the game, one that won't let you finish the game and a revision that fixed it. Good I hope they die. SoD 1 was decent, I uninstalled 2 after my choice of characters were a varity of faggots, niggers, and other letter salads."State of Decay has always focused on survival and crafting elements for a unique spin on the zombie games genre. This focus has helped it stand out in a crowded genre, but State of Decay 3 will launch in a different market.
With the dwindling popularity of zombie games, each release seeks to be distinct from the rest. Undead Labs’ IP has an inherent advantage because of its foundations, offering a more survival-focused adventure than the typical action-focused game.
However, the studio may have planned another approach to help State of Decay 3 stand out from the rest. A job listing from the developer points to a live service focus for this game."
Aaaaaaand its dead. Shame, I really enjoyed the first game when it came out and 2 as well, despite how much of a buggy mess it ended up being.
I only saw footage back when they were doing the closed beta, and it looked like an unbalanced and chaotic mess. But if they've gotten to the point of having multiple seasons without shutting down (and apparently a Happy Meal toy deal?), then it seems like they might've done better than I expected, at least in terms of player count. I'd recommend trying to find some up-to-date footage on the gameplay before buying it, it's definitely not your traditional Crash Bandicoot game. Was wanting to ask; anyone take a look at that Crash Team Rumble game? I've seen it on sale at my local game store for a while now, and apparently they've got a "Season 3" of content coming out, but... what's everyone's thoughts on it? I legit don't know anything about it, aside from the fact that they apparently added a "nonbinary" character to the game.
