You're just confirming my previous statement that you cannot talk in detail and exactitude about the Atelier games without making yourself look like a retarded larper who actually never touched the games.

Item quality barely matters in Atelier Sophie 2 since its alchemy system is about filling the grid with specific colored blocks and linking star blocks together in order to unlock more bars for better effects. It's literally not the same as Ryza 1 where quality actually did matter to unlock stuff and for the Item Rebuild.
First sophie game had alchemy loops just like Ryza 1 and 2 did. You needed high end shit for the post game bosses because they were turned way high in the original sophie. The Blocks in sophie 2 are not all that far off from Ryza where you needed specific colored/type alchemy items in the alchemy trees in order to unlock bonuses. They still both wind up serving the same purpose because in all 4 games you need to unlock all recipes to 100% them. It takes the same effort to get overpowered items in either of the games

but that doesn't have anything to do with what @BananaSplit said:

and sounds like
you're only parroting whatever crap in english a few random people on the Internet said to label it as your own "opinion" and "gospel truth", instead of actually playing videogames.

Man, @Marissa Moira, you are one hell of a forums enigma.

What I'm saying is regardless of alchemy system changes they used, they're still having the same endpoint of needing every single recipe and it's not all that different to just max your shit out and crush the optional content. Sophie 2 still requires you to get an item of 999 quality so you still need to go through the process.

He's just overseeing the game trophy list for the Playstation/PC version, but that only further confirms he's just parroting shit he perceives on the Internet regardless of the context.

Since trophies don't exist on Switch (and I hardly care for those personally), I didn't exactly understand his train of thought until now

That's part of entirely finishing a game. The pre-mysterious trilogy games had annoying scheduling to do everything in a single run and then to have save states to get all the endings in a single go. Firis was more forgiving despite doing the callbacks to the previous games in terms of deadlines.

@Marissa Moira you should make your own vidyagame

on your own

be like Pixel or Toby Fox or Derek Yu, just sit down and learn something like LOVE2D and just craft up some kind of autism thing tweaked perfectly to your heart's content, and then put it out there

shit, lord knows you have the autism to do something of that magnitude

I've been on a 3DS/DS kick lately, are The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass & Spirit Tracks worth checking out?

Never played them before, and I'm not sure if I like the idea of games controlled with the stylus only.
I've only played Phantom Hourglass, but overall I enjoyed it. The stylus controls took some getting used to, and the Ocean King's dungeon got a bit old towards the end. I liked that it actually made good use of both screens, instead of just going with the boring option of just using the bottom screen for the map/inventory. It's definitely worth trying out, but not good enough to grind through if you find the controls to be completely unbearable.

Alright, guess I'll check out some used copies of Phantom Hourglass and see if I can get used to the controls.

EA Play has been cancelled this year. EA probably doesn't have anything to show this year, given how Battlefield 2042 shit the bed so hard that it's probably the killing blow for that franchise, and The Sims 4 is still getting milked for what it is, given how there's still no announcement of a Sims 5 yet.
