What build worked with her?
First:
Pick the ability that lowers enemy attributes after 5 psychic powers
Second:
Have Cassia to restore the veil
Third:
She has a passive, when extra damage goes to nearby enemy. For example, if enemy's HP pool is 20 and she hit with 35 damage, means 15 goes to the next enemy. Sometimes, even a group of them.
Forth:
Forget about her class abilities, focus on psyker ones. Operator is garbage for her
Fifth:
Gear. Everything that boosts warp damage. There are at least two tomes of granting it.
As for Heinrix - he's a healer/tank in my party

The Expanse?! I think they are a few years too late on that one. It's a setting that had 3 good seasons of tv, and about the same number of good books. I think it's a wait and see. If the setting of the game is many years after the books, it might be worth it.

Well, I completed the game, and loved how reactive everything was.
For example, during your coronation, if you have high Awareness, you notice a teenage noble boy longingly glancing at Abelard's great granddaughter Astartia, Two acts and 40 hours later, you can exploit this to get him to dob in a distant family member to save Astartia+crew from being framed.
It even gets a bittersweet mention in the ending slides.

Low intelligence/perception operators are terrible, and that goes for the elf too.
Pasqal is good, what with so much scaling with Int, he's probably the funniest companion, don't forget to ask him what gift you should give Jae.

Sorry, all warp damage boosts go on my triclops fish waifu.
If you play a pure psyker that can stack their psy rating to the 20s, you will need to do this every other turn as you absolutely destroy the barrier between the warp and reality
Sounds great.
I'm planning to do a dogmatic psyker for my next run, to make use of the Eyes helm that adds my Dogmatic level to Psy.

You are wasting him if you build him as a healer IMO. He's so good as a support that you can use his resolve boosts to make sure everyone uses their special action at least once per fight.

Add in that the sanctic staff deals more damage the higher your resolve, you can be hitting for ludicrous damage by the end of Act 2.

I use him to negate status effects with regeneration and adding action points to my main with warp acceleration. Besides, his healing sometimes is the difference between winning and losing

Only thing I gave her is the hood. Everything else is navigator gear

The space combat is servicable, but hardly balanced. Your ahip starts out weak, but gets way too OP later on, and to upgrade it you need to win spacebattles. Can't just buy upgrade tokens eith regular loot.

I feel like BFGA hurt this game. Its space combat was fun and set a high standard.
A lot of planet events and building upgrades also offer really good ship upgrade loot so always check your colony notifications!
Tried respeccing her to just go all Navigator skills, and Bloodhound staff seems to work just fine now. Before, even when using Lidless Stare, oftentimes I just wouldn't get the chance for a second attack, even though I had sufficient AP. Also really like the Immolate the Soul skill, it feels proper to burn Daemonettes and Plaguebearers with it.
some of the best things about Cassias builds is the sheer amount of AOE debuffing as well as damage you can inflict on enemies. Usually by the end of a Cassia phase the whole enemy garrison is begging for death and is set to take even MORE warp damage next phase

At least Jae brought her stats to the table. I didn't like how she was written much though. Idira was basically outshined in every way by Cassia thanks to Perils of the Warp not affecting Cassia's abilities (i think they that changed in a later patch but i wasn't playing the game then anymore).

Holy shit, hype just rose by an order of magnitude.

I'm not entirely through the game yet but I can think of maybe one fight where you couldn't be hard carried by Cassia simply spamming her eye deathray.

Argenta going full "burn the heretics" comes second to her. Sometimes even outshines her. In Raikad System, there's a medallion that allows officer give one extra AP. And with arch-militant spec Argenta can attack 4 times. Sometimes even 5. 2 in extra turn and up to 3 in her. Then, there's Pasqal with his plasma AoE doing crazy numbers even after nerf. But there's more - xeno scum sniper can do 500+ damage per attack, plus one bonus attack with perception bonus reduction of reflect of enemy. There's a lot more

Yep, because excluding the two eyeball deathrays, she can use all her powers in one turn.
Gather enemies together, debuff their willpower, and cause them to fight amongst themselves. Notch of Purpose doesn't even need a willpower check, so you can pull bosses away from your melee line, getting free opportunity attacks.

Her narrow beam is great for single targets too.

Two of which a multishot bursts.
Executioner Kibellah carried me through most of the game and straight up soloed acts 4 and 5.
I love her reverse dance, effectively doubling your leap damage against the survivors and returning you to safety.

The Lex Imperialis DLC released today. Anyone here plan on playing it and posting their impressions?
I'll be starting a new game tonight, I'll let you all know what I think.
And if you care, Owlcat is doing a gay promotion with Twitch, where you can get codes for in-game items by watching Rogue Trader streams.

I FOMO'd and put a stream on mute. I hate that you can't get the Void Shadows drops or the pre-order bonuses without Toybox.

Not unless they've done something to make he game more challenging. It's an absolutely fantastically detailed environment they've created with wonderfully intricate mechanics and synergies. But I cranked everything up as hard as I could, save for Grim Darkness mode, and it just wasn't difficult enough.

Saw an odd post on the r*ddit for the game asking about if Ulfar is getting any more dialogue. Thought it was strange and took a bit of a look into this, and found his VA has trooned out into your stereotypical goth tranny. What's up with these deep voiced VA dudes trooning out? Warframe had Cephalon Cy's VA become a tranny and his new lines sound like absolute dogshit.

Funny I knew nothing of Ulfar's VA yet I did imagine it was some bushy bearded tryhard doing his best "viking" impression. Nailed that one on the head. What bothered me more was the reverb effect they put onto his voice. Never played another game where they had the marines sound mechanical just out of the gate. Made listening to him annoying but he was short on dialogue anyway.
