There's actually another fun thing 99% isopropyl can do, make it excessively bendy. I've seen more than a few reports over the years of people using isopropyl to strip paint, using it on cast minis and letting it soak overnight, and ending up with a floppy mess(like a spear on a model ends up like a limp noodle). It's best to just avoid it in general with cast resin.Counterpoint: 99% isopropyl alcohol can cause some resins to turn brittle. Bear this in mind when washing miniatures with lots of fine pointy bits like swords and spears.
Really, 99% of resin models produced by an actual company and not printed in someone's basement, shouldn't be near isopropyl alcohol for any extended amount of time if at all avoidable.
