It's confirmed, and fuck Games Workshop. It's only a matter of time now before Female Space Marines are a thing, which means they've chosen their customer base -- and it's not the ones that spend $60 on 3 plastic figurines.

Edit: Someone pointed out on twitter this could in theory be a Sister of Silence with a Custodes military title. Doubtful, but we'll see. After all, you can't just pander like this, GW would have to put out a female custodes character in order to PROPERLY pander.

My partner said to me as I showed them this "How much can you sell your GW stuff for?" I said nothing, people will abandon this hobby like rats on a sinking ship once female marines get announced that's it. gw know that that is their Rubicon but I don't think they know the shitstorm that will happen. I can bet they will lose 50% of their audience overnight and they fucking deserve it.

It ALREADY DOES, I'm so fucking sick of them. They're gonna water down 40k to appeal to a generic market as if there isn't already a fucking toy range, series of best selling books and videogames based on the franchise.
They're one of the few companies who saw consistent growth through the recession AND covid, the people in charge know no limits to their greed I swear.

I second that. I don't see any lore contradictions besides how things were 10K years in the past and I'm more bummed out of how shit the modern writing is for 40K in that it feels way more like it pushes new figures than telling a story.

I'm not sure. I just know that the banana boys are very tall, so I would totally believe two baseline humans stacked on top of each other would fit inside one Custodian suit.

Now whether they could move effectively would be another thing entirely, but it would be funny.
 
How one would build a bully boyos army for greenskins? I'm thinking of entering 40k tabletop with 1000 points army of these big lads. Or should I just sit down and wait for the points release?

Most likley, since assume they get minis, female custodies where probably in the works for a while and if you assume ADB or abnett where responsible, they would of shown them of in the siege of terra books.

It will either be another "the imperium is slowly making progress" like the primarus again, or potentially funnier in the 10,000 since the HH, one of the houses that would give their sons to the custodes decided to only have daughters in order to try and avoid this, but backfired as the golden boys are almost emotionless automatons and do not care, fresh meat to guard the palace is fresh meat.
