SM2 has a leaked black guy with an eyepatch head as customization which is titled "Space Wolf" also. Previously they made SW champion skin which was primarily for the 'angry black guy' character, too. It's so funny how consistent this weird shit is now.

Black Space Wolves were a thing for a good while. While I know it's because "look, diversity", I can play devil's advocate on that marines recruit from entire planets, and so people there shouldn't be the same universal group, as shown in books like Spear of the Emperor.

It's more than 'look diversity' they could push chapters like the white scars into the forefront, but it's easier to take an already existing idea which is popular and cram diversity into it. I like your observation about not sticking white dudes in whitescars, its a good point I hadnt even thought of.

They're both nothing characters to me, honestly(what kinda Captain wears phobos armor and doesnt trick it out to look not-gay?), but it is kinda surprising they'd axe Chairon yeah. But with Titus shacking up with Sgt Metarus(?) I guess you're right. There's only room for one Nigga in the squad.
I'm actually bummed about Chairon. The space marines from the time of the Heresy have such good story telling potential that doesn't seem to be utilized.

There's no way Space Scandinavia could exist in a fictional setting nowadays and actually have a purely Scandinavian population. You WILL have niggers in your Nordic-themed super soldier faction (Space Mongolia is allowed to be purely Asiatic, though).
I don't think the vidya-only people are going to be impressed to find out that two characters died offscreen (especially Chairon) when Space Marine 3 rolls around.
I'm fine with space Rome having black dudes and chinese guys, but Scandinavia is so aggressively European it makes no fucking sense. It will always seem out of place.
