If you need a fucking manual for which of the 1 of 8 legs you need to glue to a model then you fucked up. And then have to search the sprue for that number because they are not in order on the sprue then you have fucked up designing a model kit. It's not even a controversy opinion to say GW kits aren't fun to build because of this. The build experience of GW kits is closer to a jigsaw than a normal model. They're cut to be specifically awkward so you can't easily sell parts of them as bits. You get heads, feet and ass cheeks on 1 piece and chest, legs and random robot bird on the other. And when they go together they leave huge gaps over major parts you then need to putty. Which is a problem distinct to GW and it's insistence on cutting up models to be as anti-consumer as possible.

I don't want to go too off topic but everyone's seen what happened with Star wars, Doctor Who and DnD. Everyone knows this is simply how it starts until they go full hog on the lore.

People have been saying this stuff since like 2016 and unlike Star Wars it still has only exploded with success. Also DnD is similarly the most successful tabletop RPG there is without question, I don’t like it because it’s basic as shit compared to other TTRPGs and it is pozzed to the point I can’t like it even but acting like it’s failing is delusional as well.
