Beakies are great and I do indeed like men.Beakie helmets of you're sone kind of queer, right?
This change is less clumsy than the previous "shut up sexist chud, don't believe your lying memory, it's always been this way" put out by their social media tranny last year (run by a former British government nudge unit spook btw) .In 40k men and women are still genetically different as a baseline in terms of strength, and naturally the Emperor wouldn't want half of his personal guard to be weaker than the other, so to bring them up to equal footing with their male counterparts he'd need to basically bio-engineer them into men with a clam.
An army of Buck Angels in power-armor seems silly even for grimdark.
I would be a lot softer on it if they simply made it a new addition where the Imperium, out of desperation, started adding women to fill the ranks even at high levels. A body is a body when you're desperate enough for numbers.
It'd still be pandering political bullshit, but at least it'd be presented honestly as a new thing. But no, they changed lore for no reason then pulled the "erm it was always this way" shit. Zero respect.
To put down the (PVC) pipe is a difficult thing indeed. There’s a reason it’s called plastic crack. We’re all hopelessly addicted.
Oh fuck, I didn't even look at your username before I replied.Beakies are great and I do indeed like men.
When I say gay I mean it in the negative colloquial sense, not literally homosexual.
Careful, the Kofi guy might start shouting again about brainrot, sprues and people spending their own disposable income in a way he doesn't like if he reads this. There’s a reason it’s called plastic crack. We’re all hopelessly addicted.
I mean, they are changed up to their very souls with "bio alchemy". Doesn't seem impossible that they could just make them equal in strength, even if it requires extra work on women. In 40k men and women are still genetically different as a baseline in terms of strength, and naturally the Emperor wouldn't want half of his personal guard to be weaker than the other, so to bring them up to equal footing with their male counterparts he'd need to basically bio-engineer them into men with a clam.
I'd be happier if the Sisters took their rightful place alongside the Custodes with more than about 5 sculpts.Cucking out the SoS is the real loss here. They shafted a pre-established all-female faction just to shoe-horn busted man-jaw chicks into an all-male one that people barely play to begin with.
Custodes power level fluctuates wildly in the lore, most of the time they don't do anything, sometimes they are strong, sometimes random marines own them.I'd be happier if the Sisters took their rightful place alongside the Custodes with more than about 5 sculpts.
Putting the Custodes on the tabletop was a ridiculous idea in the first place. They're supposed to be near all powerful.
They may as well make a model of The Emperor is his prime.
Like, today you got Custodes fans seething that a knight sized tyranid and the big bad of the setting can both one-shot a Custode, meanwhile, back in 2012, A Thousand Sons had them being strong, but not absurdly so. T'kar takes down 3 of them by himself; it is clear they need the Sisters, and in First Heretic, the Gal-Vorbak can match them on 3 to 1.because since 2017 the Custodes are also made into pretty much the best non Grey Knights daemon hunters,
A lot of armies need to be squished or merged, I feel. Whatever is happening to monogod factions at the moment is a disaster.Super Expensive specialists that are usable in Imperial Armies would have worked.
Again, I’m reminded of Sor Talgron’s musings in “The Purge” where he sums up the difference between Custodes and Astartes, made for different purposes.Like, today you got Custodes fans seething that a knight sized tyranid and the big bad of the setting can both one-shot a Custode, meanwhile, back in 2012, A Thousand Sons had them being strong, but not absurdly so. T'kar takes down 3 of them by himself; it is clear they need the Sisters, and in First Heretic, the Gal-Vorbak can match them on 3 to 1.
But Inferno had them getting 4-1 against the Scarab Ocult Terminators without the Sisters, and 11 to 1 with them, pretty much every release since has them getting stronger.
So the Sisters are pretty much second fiddle already; they can deny psychic powers, but that is not important if the custodian already cut the psyker into pieces in the time they take to blink.
Give it time....Putting the Custodes on the tabletop was a ridiculous idea in the first place. They're supposed to be near all powerful.

I have no idea but man, i am digging that model, despite it not exactly looking like a 40k model. I always imagined Slann like the WHFB lizard men army leaders (weren't they even named Slann? My memory is fuzzy on this). Nice catch with that art piece, i kinda see the similarities.Did they make any comments about Lizard man here? Is It a Slann?

I want to see pictures of your "a decade in the hobby" models.Buddy my opinion is the opinion of 99 percent of the hobby so like….sorry if you’ve walked into a community that’s too normal for you?
Probs to cater to trannies. Why else are they so hard pressed to force women into an all male faction like that.Cucking out the SoS is the real loss here. They shafted a pre-established all-female faction just to shoe-horn busted man-jaw chicks into an all-male one that people barely play to begin with.

Easy fix for all of this. Bring back allies.Super Expensive specialists that are usable in Imperial Armies would have worked.
Hell, the old Epic 40k rules let you have 25% Eldar allies if you rolled an Imperium army. I even remember Oldhammer artwork of a Blood Axe ork and a human general leading combined forces in a siege."All units under the same umbrella (imperium, xenos, chaos) can ally. Allies must be 50% or less than the game point value. Allies cannot be used in competitive tournaments."
don’t give GW ideas they are all too willing to retcon characters, they did that to Ursula Creed, used to be a man now looks like a transwoman.Bros not pleased with Arks of Omen have no idea how close they came to Vashtorr having tits and a ectoplasma stink ditch.
