Look I know the complaints get annoying and yes lime 90% of people complaining are guardfags who wanna see it more than buy it. True steel legion fags wouldn’t wait for GW.
But the Krieg release set a precedent again in that if Krieg can get a full plastic line then EVERYONE needs it. They gave guardfags an inch and they want the mile. They used to maintain at least an infantry squad, command, and heavy weapon teams. For multiple regiments even if they were metal.
If Krieg stayed as a funny kill team sure but they got a full ass modern release. This will be an issue until the fucking Tangar Woad Warriors have a full release

Yeah the most popular guard regiment is setting a precedent. Its not like they didnt have an entire forgeworld model line that GW killed off before or anything. Its not like the demand far outweighed the supply since its release a year ago. You HAVE to cater to everyone's favorite furry fanfic infantry brigade.

They should've just had a re-run of the MTO metal kits or made a token killteam that you could kitbash into the remaining squads (i.e command, HWTs maybe would be hard but still) guardfags are autistic because arguably armageddon was a larger deal to TEH LORRR than Krieg ever was, so i suppose thats where the tism comes from, and again a world where you have 100+ SM datasheets if you collate all the divergent chapters would it be too much to give the guard 4 more ones to have the Infantry, HWT, Command squad and token solo commander? (They already killed the generic infantry squad mid edition because they werent cadian and could do the whole "bring a single HWT" that made them meta over the cadians) the rules dont even matter too much since those can always be changed by their retarded rule team, but its still kinda retarded and low effort,

Even if you argue the majority died and only 1% of the population is still being armed (the rest being on the factories 24/7), they should outnumber every single cadian remnant in the galaxy.

To be fairrrrrrrr regarding the numbers, most of Armageddon is likely busy in the factories. May be more suitable to keep them on assembly lines and import kriegers, and theres only so many gangers you can draft. The rest of the population is likely glued to their factory position for 20 hours a day

It’s the enabling of the worst group of 40k “fans” that I hate the most. They could’ve just hand waved it as “They’re there but we want to show armies you can field today”. Instead after everyone who clearly was a fan explain why just painting Krieg with Steel Legion colors is dumb (and I’m pretty sure there’s Krieg regiments with those same colors too) they just went with “Just paint them Steel Legion lol”. They could’ve even teased us and said “Who knows maybe they’ll join you on the battlefield with a limited run made to order in the future”
