But even if he went to work, how long do you think it would take for him to get fired ? He would probably try to use work, as a time to attempt to hook up with da ladies, and could you imagine how he would get along with the other employees? Especially the DAMN MALE JERKS!

Oh, I know. Chris's actual employability is a definite cause for concern. But I think that with restraint and therapy, Chris may actually be employable. Whether or not Chris is willing to realize that potential is another question.

(Short cut: NO.)

I think if Chris really wants to stop trolling, one of the best options would be to sell out. If Chris started getting ad revenue on his videos with a YouTube partnership, started selling Sonichu comics, and selling other Sonichu merch, it'd be win win for Chris. Either people would be stupid enough to buy the merch, thereby support Chris, or they'd realize that Chris is now laughing with them instead of being laughed at, they'd tune out and Chris would stop being trolled.

That's very well said. Nothing kills a laughingstock faster than self-awareness. And although I believe that Chris would like to pursue that idea, his ego and his own lack of vision would get in the way. He might be able to restrain himself for just a while, but as soon as the "CHRIS IS GAY" comments came rolling in, he'd be back to his old antics.

He's not willing to put any effort into anything. His asking prices on his eBay account are laughable.

Agreed. I do a lot of selling on eBay myself (at one point I was a preferred seller and had a store) and I was in for a rude awakening when I first started and realized that I wouldn't be able to sell plastic crap for any price I demanded. eBay truly is a careful balance between what you pay and what you sell when you're doing it for a living, or even to augment your income. Sometimes you make a relative bundle, but most often you're generating just a few dollars of profit. Sometimes, you even lose money. That's the way businesses run.

Chris is locked into the idea of "anything I buy will increase in demand and I can make money on," which is a mindset shared by many amateur eBayers. But no, that's not the case. That's not the case at all.

I'd like to argue that he once had a successful business at one point in highschool. Picking up change people throw at you is a real workin' tomgirl job. He could always return to that. :pickle: :pickle:

maybe chris could strike up a deal with hostess or some other baked goods company. i'd buy a box or two of sonichu medallion sugar cookies.

What company would want to tarnish their image by being associated with Chris?

Amy's Baking Company?

Well, he could straighten up and become a normal contributing member to society then write a world's best selling book about how he turned his life around. Yeah, I know, I couldn't even keep a straight face as I typed this.

Maybe he should try becoming one of those webcam girls. There are also places that pay for you just to talk to people, such as this site: http://flirtbucks.net/

Let's see...

Do you have an engaging personality and love to talk with new and interesting people? Do you love to spend time on social networking and online community sites? Do you desire to earn a great income through a fun and easy job right from the comfort of your own home?

Sounds like Chris. They're asking for women, but he's a girl in spirit!

There are other sites out there as well:

http://www.dollardojo.com/paid-chat/
http://www.cafemom.com/group/36594/forums/read/3150548/Get_paid_for_chatting_online

I don't think that anyone can specifically request you until they've been assigned to you or something along those lines (like a chat hotline number), so he should be free of trolls. And even if they do try to call him, they'd have to pay him in order to talk to them. Then he'd make money off of them easily and he wouldn't have to do anything.

Chris could supplement the tugboat doing commissions. Hell, I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to hang a "hand-drawn original" in the rec room.

In the long term, I'd bet the farm that in 20 years Sonichu will be making some serious noise in the "outsider" art world. One only has to look at the upcoming Mingering Mike exhibit at the Smithsonian to see just how close we are to the day when [cwc=File:SchuComicSP3P5.jpg]this[/cwc] will be hanging next to a Warhol.

He could get a job at McDonald's. Seriously. He wouldn't work front counter or back booth, but he could do the jobs the non-English speakers do. He could make salads and parfaits., maybe even stock stuff like sauces and cups. Those are basic, basic things. At the one I worked at we had a guy with Down's Syndrome working there. He got short 3-4 hour shifts, and he cleaned the lobby and stocked stuff. Chris could do that. It's super basic, and he would be a contributing member of society. The pay isn't great but it's something. And, for every shift we worked we got a free meal! Think of all the q-sands he could get!

Brilliant! Technically he's only banned from McD's as a *customer*.

I doubt they'd want to hire someone they banned for inappropriate behavior, that kind of makes him a liability. Not to mention, he technically has a criminal record. If you were a business owner trying to make a profit, you'd consider Chris completely toxic. :P

He can sue Snyder for being a troll mastermind and have the Cville's Hobbies, Games, and Toys shop awarded to him.

Would you really want to (or to have other people) eat anything Chris had a hand in making??
