I don't weigh myself at all, I just judge how fat I am based upon how well my belt or clothing fit and whether I look in the mirror and think "Oh wow you're fat" or not.
I've reached the conclusion that you should shoot to be however strong you need to be to function. Being stronger is cool and all, but I'm willing to put my money on the idea that in the context of long term functionality you're going to be better off maintaining a lower weight even if it means sacrificing some musculature.
Most people aren't employed as viking berserkers where being more jacked increases their productivity and effectiveness, and even if someone isn't fat, muscle mass is still mass the body has to maintain either way.
Weight loss almost always seems correlated with muscle loss unfortunately.Down to 158 (started at 200), mom is worried that I'm losing too much weight. Going to cut to 150.
I really regret not weight training, I'm extremely frail now... It's still better than being fat though.
