"Tonight [you] became catholic?" Is there something about Lent I don't understand as a recovering fedora wearing atheist dipshit? Not to make it overly religious, but over lent I decided to change up how I ate. I've been doing 48 hour fasts every week. Tonight I become catholic and I've lost 35 pounds within these 40 days. It's kinda shocking how simple yet difficult it's been. I've been a listener of MATI for years and I can now say Jersh was right, calorie counting works.
Use some of the money you’re not spending on troughs of food to buy a new scale, fatsoDue to some health issues I won't disclose, I started dieting. Low carb diet. I started seeing a Dietitian and they suggested adding more carbs into my diet. I'm under 150 a day, give or take.
When I last went to the doctor's last month, I was 280. I'm now around 276-274. My scale is a bit old and not accurate. Will give me different weights between back to back immediate usage.

The numbers that are asserted with a lot of confidence are obviously not real. Maybe some are correct on "average", based on some random study. I doubt even that is true. Just translate things into general terms of "a lot", "a little", "more than", or "less than" and then a lot of the things said are mostly correctsaw this weight loss video recommended on yt, any comments on its legitimacy?

I just posted on the how do you fight depression thread with more details on my experience with the carnivore diet as it encompasses both fat loss and curing my depression and anxiety. if anyone is interested it is there.Anyone else do zero carb carnivore? I've been on it for a year. Never going back myself. Was thinking of starting a thread, as I have been looking for somewhere to chat about it that isn't Reddit. Just seeing if anyone else was interested.

1700 calories isn't insane. ~1-2 pounds a week (.45-.9kg) is a sane amount to lose. Across 12 weeks (3 months) dropping 22 pounds is possible. All told it makes sense.saw this weight loss video recommended on yt, any comments on its legitimacy?

Small steps bro. Little wins should be celebrated. You're making conscious decisions to improve. Good on you bro.No matter how bad shit gets, I look at my weight (which is still high, but has been trending downwards for months now) and remember: I was heavier than fucking Boogie2988 at my worst.
I'm still probably heavier than him and probably heavier than Ralph.
And I put down the second cheeseburger, wrap it in foil, and save it for another day.
