I had another of the giant building full of weird things dreams, this one not anywhere familiar. It was near something I called a "marina," which was a bizarre artificial body of water connected to a real lake by a series of locks like a canal. I somehow knew this was what it was despite it having no actual boats in it. Apparently, boats would park there and get in and out by lowering them in a lock. Supposedly this was to keep people from stealing them.
Looking down on this, I saw a giant building in the distance, sort of shaped like the Vertical Assembly Building at Canaveral.
Next, without any transition, I was in it. It had mall elements and industrial elements. I went to an ice cream shop and tried to order a cone. The guy asked what kind of ice cream I wanted and I went down the list, and whatever I asked for, he didn't have. Then when I finally found one he actually did have, he said he was out of cones, and I flipped out and yelled "What the fuck is this, a Monty Python skit?"
Then I walked around some more, encountering strange stuff like science labs and stores selling incomprehensible objects, until I found somewhere selling huge chocolate bars with moon runes on them and anime characters on the wrappers. I tried to buy one, but they refused to sell me anything. I went into a tard rage and started just yelling obscenities at them, then wandered off before security showed up.
This is the actual weird part because the giant building thing is a recurring thing and usually pretty dull. I'm looking for food, or I lost my shoes, or I can't find my car, or some other dumb thing, and the whole dream is just failing to do whatever I'm trying to do.
I thought "this is exactly like those buildings I have in dreams" and "I bet this shows up in a dream at some point." Usually, the mere mention of a dream instantly triggers the thought "that's because it actually IS a dream" and I either wake up or deliberately forget that.
After this, nothing of note actually happened. I started walking through abandoned parts of the building, including things like an abandoned mental institution, although there was a single person sitting like a receptionist at the desk, places that were nothing but bare infrastructure, furnaces, boilers, and the like, and eventually it just petered out. I didn't even notice the usual stereotypical things that happen in these dreams like when you turn around to go back to where you were, but instead it's something else.
