This sounds similar to a dream I had years ago where I was driving my long-departed grandmother to the grocery store only to have the road starting as a comfortable 2-lane road end up narrowing to a grass alley with fences on either side of my car that prevented me from opening my doors when I abruptly hit a dead-end and needed to somehow back up and turn around. Not really weird, just other than being remembered, but just because of my grandfather being in it (who has been dead well over 20 years). We were driving a car to sell it, down a dirt road, and complaining about its lack of a windshield, because we had for some reason sold that.
Also it reminded me of how much I missed him.
Agreed. In the aforementioned dream, I figured it was my grandma's way of warning me of the dangers of getting into a situation that one can't easily get out of.Passed relative dreams are so wack. It re-opens healed wounds but sometimes its endearing.
In my back to school dreams, there's usually some sort of consequence to my not going back to school. In one where I had to attend 8th grade for a day as an adult, I was told I would no longer be able to call myself an 8th grade graduate if I refused to comply.I finally put 2+2 together during the dream in a moment of lucidity and realized I didn't need to pass any more tests, homework or attend classes as I've been out of every level of my education for a decade. I woke up after that.
In one of my own lucid dreams, I supposedly found an item that has been lost for well over 10 years now. As I looked down and saw it in front of me, I exclaimed, "This isn't real!" and immediately woke up.
