One of my pet peeves showed up here again: a little kid who sounds absolutely nothing like a little kid. The older brother sounds actually convincing as a teen, but Gretel sounds like a teenager/adult woman. Not even trying to heighten her voice. If she couldn't even bother to do that, they could've at least pitched her voice up digitally. It's so weird hearing a clearly grown-up voice say these little kid things.

It’s certainly different; it’s going for a more action adventure route like Atlantis or Treasure Planet and the facial molds have more variety, following the trend started with Raya. Most of the effort was definitely places on the creature and environment designs though.

OK, Disney, this is getting ridiculous. Is it too much to ask that you design your women to actually look like women instead of weird man/woman hybrids? You had this down to a science not even a decade ago! What the fuck happened?!

Honestly I think it looks great and will turn out great, remember we already got a Beavis and butthead revival in 2011 very briefly but it was one of the most accurate and faithful revivals i've ever seen of a cartoon. It was literally the same show as in the 90s but with HD visuals and references to the modern day with them reviewing reality tv as well as mtv music videos. I think they'll probably knock it out of the park again as long as they just remain as accurate as possible and don't force morals or become too politicised, which seem unlikely.

Note how despite being in a one piece outfit and having a short hair cut SGT Calhoun still looks like a goddamn woman! She was still a badass both in the context of the movie and in the fictional game she was designed for. As for your question of Wha happun? Well ugly fuckwits on twitter bithced and moaned on social medium "wha wha why dont I look like that?! UNFAIR!!" And Disney for what ever deranged reason thought said fuckwits make up the majority of their paying customer base...sure they DO somewhat but not enough to justify pandering to them.

A lot is riding on Luck given who’s behind it. Really hoping it succeeds. Paws of Fury is interesting if only because of the development hell it was in for years. It’s surprising it didn’t go the way of Foodfight.

I’m still wondering why Ralph of all things got a theatrical sequel. Nothing about it needed a follow up and it wasn’t the blockbuster phenomenon Frozen was.

Wasn't Paws of fury at one point going to be an animated sequel/spiritual successor to blazing saddles? Just set in old Japan as opposed to the wild west? or am I thinking of something else entirely?

I suppose finding adults who could do convincing child voices are hard to cone by these days. We're far from the days of June Foray and Dick Beals when it came to grown adults who could do it.

But yeah, it's sad when they don't try.

The conclusion of this video was that Dennis practically had nothing to do with the show ending and it was just a fanciful urban legend, right? I don't doubt based on what was able to be found on usenet that he was a sperg, but what was put together here seems to disprove the myth.

The video is solid enough, though Bernie is a genine communist, and i can't help but think it's just some weird as fuck attempt at astroturfing decades after it was ever relevant. Ultimately i don't think it really matters if it was dennis falk or some other furfag that did, they could be lying out of their teeth or be telling the truth, and it just does not matter. The CYD article really should just be taken as a cautionary tale for how furries really are. As long as the story actually happened then the point still stands, at least imo.

They thought, possibly correctly, that he was the stalker who was sending threatening letters to Tress MacNeille, but so far as I know, that part of the story wasn't ever actually proven. He also was hardly the only wacko who was semi-stalking the cast, with most of them from early online communities like Usenet, specifically alt.tv.tiny-toon I believe and other cartoon-related newsgroups.

Similarly, "the Biggest Fan" is sometimes assumed to be Falk but has characteristics of a lot of different Internet autists of the time.

Also didn't the showrunners deny they canceled the show because of Falk at some later date?
