Shrek, Donkey, and Fiona are getting their original VAs back while Shrek’s daughter seems to be voiced by Zendaya. The characters have also been slightly redesigned, if I were to make a comparison it looks like they took notes from the ones seen in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

People can barely name Hollywood actors now. Look at most fan casts, they are practically always comprised of the same handful of actors. From the 2020s, I can personally only name Timothy Chalament and Sydney Sweeney as big actors of this decade.

Zendaya dated Tom Holland and was in Spider-Man, which was enough to get her noticed. Now she is competing in a field with 0 competition.

They’ve basically been updated to be more in-line with the modern Dreamworks style. Shrek’s old and new look reminds me of a side-by-side comparison of the Tiki carvers and foremen from Spyro 2.
