This came up at my work recently because some kid's first name was Anakin. So I got curious and looked up a few in my work database (which doesn't cover the entire state). Turns out there's a few Anakins, Padmes, and Leias in Arizona. I forget what else I looked up, but I kept it to just the obvious ones. Except for exactly one Leia, they're all within the last 22 years. And except for a couple, they're all within the last 12 or so years. It's almost exclusively just people who were kids when the prequel trilogy came out doing this. I suspect because Gen Xers and older Millennials had enough common sense to name their kids the less conspicuous names like Luke and Ben.
